every time i see someone say that they hate greg and/or tom for being "weaselly" i honestly just feel like.. ok you hate poor people. you fell for propaganda that wasn't even there lol

#like you hate the regular people who are doing what they have to do in order to survive in this environment #but you don't hate the characters who represent the evil of why the environment is like this in the first place?#you're fine with the people who own the wealth by supposed birthright but you hate those who fight to get a piece?#literally tom and greg - ESPECIALLY greg - are supposed to be the most relatable characters #along the vein of class anyway #the sibs are relatable for family dynamics and their relationship with their father etc #but tom and greg are everymen! they're SO much more normal!#it's honestly fascinating the amount of ppl who don't like them #mine
