Oh! Thinking of horror with distressing content, I've really enjoyed this game Yudashi Peril: Floraison by v_ual. The game itself is pay-what-you-want, so totally fine if you wanna get it for free. And it's not just a windows game, it works with macs too!

This is a game about cute characters in sweet relationships, but it touches on some really dark shit so do read the content warning on the itch io page.

The setting with all its different locations is very gripping to me, as well as the memorable characters and the aesthetic of the graphics and UI. With this being a horror game, the scares and tragic moments really got me. I feel like this game might be under the radar for people following me and I can say 100% this is worth reading if the topics intrigue you.
