Feels very weird to see states like SC appear listed as States With The Smallest LGBT Population or whatever
#quite frankly: i dont think we have less queer people than anywhere else#i think queer people in the south are just more likely to say no if you ask them to answer in a poll about how they identify#idk!!! i just really dont think the south is actually some kind of barren queerless wasteland#our communities just havent been as public or easily found as long as they have been in other places#but they're growing and we're everywhere down here whether there's a proper organized community effort around or not
