In your opinion, would it make sense for Fey/Fairy creatures to have bat wings?

It would depend on the creature. Not all Faeries are Fairies. When we say Fairy nowadays, we think of Pixies, Sprites, and Spriggans. The tiny fey with insectoid wings. But Faerie means a LOT of things. Depending on how wide you cast your net, not only are some obviously fey things included like Merfolk, Gnomes, and Elves, but even some less obvious creatures like Kelpies, Boggarts, Sluagh, and Goblins are also Faeries. In Scottish folklore there exists two camps of faeries: the Seelie Court and the Unseelie Court. The Seelie are your traditional "good" fairies. They might still prank or kill you, but they're just as likely to help you. While the Unseelie would sooner kill you than look at you. Unseelie Faeries are more malicious, harmful, and macabre. Unseelie Faeries might include something like the beautiful Leannan Sidhe that's both a muse and a vampire, granting her victims a spark of genius, but ensuring they lead very short lives as she drains away their life force. It might also include creatures like the Pooka that deliberately gets its fun by scaring the living daylights out of people, though a Pooka can at least be bribed with cream to help out around a farmstead. Won't stop it from pranking though. Other Pooka aren't so easily bribed, needing to be tamed forcefully by riding the Pooka in its horse form with iron spurs to bring the fey to heel. Bat wings would be very thematically appropriate for the Unseelie Court, but not a lot of fey creatures actually have wings. About the only faeries with wings are the Queens, Kings, Nobles, and the Sprites, Pixies, and Spriggans. Pookas cannot maintain a fully human appearance, and always have some animalistic feature at all times. They could have bat wings.

I decided Wren can conjure a leg but now it's two: one summon is a weapon the other is armor, which means after a bit it'll disappear. He mostly just uses them for at home because it's easier to flop into bed then dispel it than take off an actual prosthetic and they mirror his other leg so he can wear pants and boots over them.

The spriggan leg lasts a lot longer, about 3 months of wearing if he's not damaging it too badly out adventuring, it also doesn't give him as much discomfort normal prosthetics would have (kind of like if you transplanted a leg, but only temporarily vs putting a stump into the prosthetic and bearing weight), so he opts for that if he has to be on his feet a lot, and taproots aren't that hard to come by

But also imagine fighting a guy and his leg disappears then he pulls out another (actual solid non-conjured prosthetic) leg. He has more leg options than you could conceive, don't even try to make him go through all of them

A Ninja's Guide to Eorzea, Part 3: Level 50 dungeons

As we maintain our meander midst the microcosm of much-maligned mystic masking, we must meet the meat of the main game- the level 50 dungeons. coming into this, I assumed that since this was the endgame for quite a while, sneaking through enemies wouldn't fly here. while that is true for some dungeons, others were pleasantly perceptive to our plight.

that being said there are a lot of these things to get through, so forgive me for the lightning round.

DNF -Castrum Meridianum, the Praetorium, and the Lost City of Amdapor

the first two I'm simply not doing because I'm not sitting through an hour of cutscenes to double-check my assumption. they're almost certainly Ds though, the former practically forces you to fight every pull separately, the latter's a glorified boss rush. Amdapor, on the other hand was annoying. while I'm certain it will get a higher rating later, right now I simply can't kill the first boss with my ninja. I've gotten it to 1% multiple times too, it's very frustrating! I'll come back to that one after another level.

F -Amdapor Keep

everything and its mother can see through Hide here, and they can do it with 360 degree vision- that means it's actually harder to sneak past certain enemies with Hide than without it!

D- -Pharos Sirius

it's no worse than any other Ds, but I'm giving it its own rating bc it feels like you should be able to sneak in certain areas if only random crap being thrown at you didn't get in the way. very annoying dungeon. at least you can sneak between the third and fourth bosses.

D -Brayflox's Longstop, Halatali (Hard), Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard), Stone Keep (Hard)

nothing special about any of these, you just can't sneak worth a darn in 'em.

C- -Haukke Manor

it's mostly unsneakable, but there are a few sections you can wiggle your way through. wiping the floor with Halicarnassus is very cathartic after all the trouble it gave me in my zodiac book runs though.

B -Hullbreaker Isle

despite almost every objective involving fighting random enemies, you can pretty easily sneak past everything you aren't picking a fight with. again, definitely more rogue than ninja, but fun nonetheless.

B -Copperbell Mines (Hard)

I just had to give this dungeon its own section because *chefs kiss* what a glowup from the original. the spriggans throwing fire at you can't be avoided, but surprisingly the giant ambush can be if you break through the rock fast enough. I'm sure I'm inflating the score here purely based on how rough the original dungeon was, but it just felt good to get through this time around.

It actually took so long to get this part out I've finished the zodiac daggers and started working on the Anima relic, so I'll cover the level 50 dungeons needed for that (and the start of the HW dungeons) in part 4!

What supernatural species does your character know about? What do they think?

//Regan only knows about fae. Within fae, she really mostly only knows about banshees. So she isn't aware of all that much! I think she's met the odd spriggan or faun here and there, and might have patched some up, but her knowledge base is really firmly in banshees. Which she does know a lot about, both inside and out. She also does know quite a bit about fae culture (and biology) at large -- things that aren't specific to banshees but are inclusive of them.

She absolutely wishes she knew none of this lol.

I'm sure a lot of the other banshees also talked about the undead (with disdain), but that's a ridiculous notion to her. There's no way. Same with wardens; she can't fathom the idea of hunters specializing in sentient species.

Elfman was well-aware of the Magic Council's current level of strength. While they weren't quite savage enough to take out one of the Spriggan 12 by themselves (or combined), each of them dwarfed most everybody in Fairy Tail in terms of strength. In that regard, even the 3rd-ranked Saint proved stronger than their resident Lightning Dragon. In that regard, being referred to as "strong" - that is, standing in the same category as the Wizard Saints in the King of Giants' eyes, was nothing less than the highest form of flattery; saving being called a Man. With that in mind, it makes sense to infer why the hulk grinned widely at someone other than himself being praised. "They are strong, aren't they!" The pride of the foolish, egotistical youth.

-- "You'd do that!!? Yer not land-bound!!?" His surprise couldn't come any clearer; in the Man's mind, the King of Giants' scarce fame among humans could only mean, he resided only in his private lands. Yet, an opportunity like this never presents itself.

A wide smile once again plastered over his face, as his giddy self showed; reflecting the same enthusiasm a small child would have. "That's a True Man!!" He called out; "If ya ever need a drink, our home'll always have ya, King!!"

The Dragon influx... For a moment, Elfman had to ponder what that meant. There were some cases where dragons suddenly appeared all around, but none lasted for too long. "Hmmm... Not anyone that stays, really." He attested. "If Fiore's been seein' lots of dragons, I'd know. Fairy Tail's counted on a lot fer defense these days but, nothin' of those 'round our parts..." It is cause for concern, however.

Their bout with Acnologia was devastating. While Elfman personally only fought with the Dragonlings, their influx in the Dragon Festival was threatening, if nothing else. For a moment he didn't lose hope that everything will be alright, but perhaps it's better to have more powerful allies in times of need like that. "Other than that, all's kinda calm in the country."

if anything, the wizard council had too much troublesome mages for Dagruel to consider. Sure he could break them, but the challenge was not there if he did. There were so many people that had the power to actually pose a challenge, it was troublesome to find anything entertaining. And with that person living in his own castle... he suppose he's getting lazier everyday now. Living beside the demon king of sloth is bound to get something into him.

"I'm not as bound as you think. I could always come to you if you need training. Its been hundreds of years since I had taught anyone. And the power of the giants , is indeed powerful..."

Meaning he probably wont' take it as intense.
