Winter is coming and due to climate change many people in the US south now experience cold winters, but usually don’t have heating because it was never needed before. Anyway, if you’re one of those people:
#for those not familiar#this suggestion circulates every autumn/winter#it doesn't 'work'#ofc burning a candle adds heat to a room#go ahead and light one if you like them#but the flowerpot doesn't add any special heatingness#if you wouldn't be excited by a candle as a heat source don't get more excited because it has a flowerpot over it#nor does a candle work out cheaper per kWh than eg an electric heater or a hot water bottle#OK LET'S GO AIR CIRCULATION AIR QUALITY FIRE HAZARDS I ACTUALLY GET MY CANDLES FOR FREE YES YES YES IT IS THAT TIME OF YEAR#WE RIDE FOR GONDOR#sorry to my lovely mutual who lives somewhere it is currently 29 degrees celsius
