I wrote mlm and acew solidarity in my book in the form of a gentle life-time friendship, but I just know the cishets are gonna be like: omg are they a secret COUPLE? Do they FUCK?! I bet they just act like friends to hide that they’re THIRSTY for one another!! And it makes me want to commit die

#it doesn't help that one is like #immortal #i know they'll jump on it if they're let to do so #this is one of the reasons i'm not sure about publishing this thing #which like #shipping is cool #but the age gaps between all the characters are profound and it'd be.... weird?#their ages are 13 21 34 45 54 and like 6000 so....#idk it's whatever #but what scares me is that somebody might ship the child with some of the adults and that just causes me heebie jeebies #and also makes me want to delete this character entirely #in the final version #just the posibility of it is enough #can you imagine a 13 kid with someone in their 30s #that's fucking gross #but yeah that's what scares me about publishing it #i did write two important cishet couples in the book so that should satisfy their carnal hunger for straight relationships #to satisfy the carnal hunger for queer relationships #i did write one of the main characters gay and ending up with a sailor guy #but it's at the end #sorry #don't be sad though the cishet couples are also not spared my wrath #in one the woman dies and in the other the guys spouse is seperated from him and we get to see her late in the book lol #i haven't even written that passage yet #anyway #smaller than heaven #where none of the relationships are safe and you can buy mental disorders for 1$ at each street corner #join in for the ride
