the whole "I got pushed into the far right, because radical feminists are so mean to men, and no one in the left criticizes them for it," routine would be more credible if not for the fact that at the exact same time radical feminists are saying "I'm getting pushed into aligning with the right, because the misogynistic left is bullying and silencing me for criticizing men,"

#also real talk the “and no one in the left criticizes them for it” bit is a strawman because it's an extremely broad and absolute claim #which as a result of being broad and absolute is indeed both incorrect and easily disproven #but the actual claim is generally “it's hard to find leftist spaces where I won't hear that I should die for being male”#which unfortunately is correct #i can say that very much from personal experience both online and irl #i don't know if that alone is gonna make someone a nazi - it certainly didn't make me one #but i was lucky enough to always have close female friends #i think things are better these days than they were in my past experience #because all the “women should get together to all abort male babies” shit is recognised as TERFy and that's understood to be bad #(actual thing i heard irl btw not a joke or exaggeration)
