The entire experience (more or less a fan culture) of having fun together and making friends at the venue should happen more often! I still remember when I couldn't attend the Monsta X concert due to scheduling issues, but I went to the venue anyway for the sake of the freebies hahaha and it was so cool! I still keep ALL the freebies with me. Button badges, small hand mirrors with cute arts at the cover, hand-fans with decorated pictures, I have them all still, and they were from 2019!! And the fankits I bought too, they're still safe with me. More or less, I remember who gave them so the experience itself got me more online friends that I treasure dearly. It would be nice if we do have some sort of interactions bcs we are tennis fans after all. So small freebies won't hurt. I know that this fandom culture doesn't necessarily reflect the sport's image but wtv as long as it is fun, what's wrong with it. AND ABOUT THE LIGHTSTICK!! [I don't wanna bring in H*BE in this but remember the South Korean olympic team had a lightstick officially supplied for fans at the olympic village? Hahahahadhsjs KOREA OPEN TAKE NOTES! We might see kim mingyu waving wta-bong next year before we know
