Hmm okay. Honestly I think I would be more shocked than disappointed!! Because I genuinely don't think that's a possibility atp. Now, I think on some level I would be disappointed, not necessarily bc they aren't together but bc that means that they've been click baiting the hell out of "phan" and making fun of phannies 💀 like I think when they do it now, it's funny af and they deserve to be able to do that if that makes sense? Because it's kind of a "they know we know" situation, and also after all the shit the phandom put them through, I'm like yeah!! Say you're getting married in a gaming vid title, make fun of people who obsess over every time you touch!! But I'm viewing them doing all of this with the assumption that they are together. Hi, thanks for the ask!

Although Sahota has technically tortured others before, the threats he makes in that chapter are exaggerated. Partly because at that point, it's the first time in years he's been given power over another person (or group of people) like this, and he's feeling things out in the way he's been taught, and partly because he's certain that will be the outcome if Benji (or anyone else) openly defies or betrays Vic.

Sahota and Vic's mission success largely depends on them getting in and out of a dangerous situation as quickly as possible. Sometimes that means grabbing a guard and breaking a few fingers, a strategy that's not exactly reliable, but they'll go there as a last resort. They've never taken a captive long-term, (at least Sahota hasn't) but Sahota has firsthand experience as a victim in that sort of situation, so his threats (and fears) aren't unfounded

Yup! Ryker has had a boyfriend before and they did sadly break up. (They were both giants) I was originally planning on writing a little one shot of everything, but I barely have time to write now TwT so I’ll just answer it here! :D (it’s a tiny bit long)

Yes, Ryker has had a boyfriend before Nathan! It was a very unhealthy relationship between the two, with the other not reciprocating feelings for Ryker and when they had, it made Ryker very uncomfortable. (Sexual stuff, they were very manipulative, uncaring) The two had been dating for a couple months, almost a year, and eventually Rykers boyfriend had enough of Ryker. They complained that he was getting tired of Ryker bothering him and that he was just too touchy (hugs, little kisses, holding hands nothing sexual) for his taste. Even though Ryker was usually quiet and caring and didn’t even bother him.

So the guy breaks up with Ryker and leaves him in a little mess. Ryker has a hard time getting back into things and finds out his ex moved somewhere else. But of course that break up changed him, which is why Ryker is always so cautious with touching people, especially Nathan since he didn’t want him to be uncomfortable (little does he know Nathan is touch starved and loves all the hugs, kisses, and being with Ryker as much as possible)

So pretty much Rykers love language is physical touch! He just likes knowing the feeling of someone being there for him and same goes for the opposite as well!

If you would like me to write out a part please let me know! I’ll try my best to get it out as fast as possible if you would like to see a one shot!

Why is it your name "i am a gross candy?"

my nickname has always been candy, but i guess saying "i am candy" felt a bit empty for me. so my thought process was like this:

"candies are sweet, but i don't see myself as sweet, so instead how about gross? heck yeah it sounds awesome"

i wanted to go with something that was good but also bad?? i don't know really. i know it sounds terrible that i'm basically calling myself gross 😅, but i felt like saying "i'm sweet" wasn't really fitting me, i thought.

i know i'm not a sweet person because i have flaws. i can be selfish and quite lazy, so i guess saying i'm a gross candy was like saying "i know i can be good but i know i can be bad, i'm something in between"

It's a good question that I'm happy to answer! It just makes me mad.... I sincerely hate the wording of "prey" being used to describe her.

SHE IS A VICTIM! THAT DOES NOT MEAN SHE IS "PREY"!

I can...see how people in ancient times may have used that word and still meant it in how she is a victim... but modern-day English-speaking people calling her that??? (considering how in different languages the word "prey" could have different meanings.) I'll just say that as someone who has been "prey" herself at one point, I REALLY hate that word as a descriptor. Just say victim or survivor. 👍

Honestly to call ANY victim "prey" is so fucked up. "Prey" to me, feels like "it's meant to happen." "Prey" are part of the food chain and so that's what happens. And to compare that to abduction and SA? Almost as if "that's our place"? It also kind of implies something being "eaten" or killed... Helen SURVIVES. She's traumatized and definitely needs healing and support but it's not like she can't find joy or peace ever again. Prey just feels so fucking gross.

Also, if someone calls victims "prey", I hope they know that Moose, Elk, Boars, Bovine, ZEBRAS, etc. are technically "prey". And these are VERY aggressive animals while still being "prey" for some other animals. And also that doesn't mean that "Oh, they're powerful! Clearly they should've been able to stop it." That's victim blaming :P

She is a clever, determined, caring woman who was ripped from her home for YEARS because Paris was a dipshit who decided he needed the prettiest woman in the world despite already having a wife. He didn't care about the fact that Helen didn't want to be there and was already married. He is so selfish that he will not let her go back even when THOUSANDS have died in the war! EVEN HIS BROTHER HECTOR AND PRIAM DO NOT BLAME HER! Granted, we do not know if Aphrodite would have let him undo their deal of "I want the prettiest woman" if he DID end up feeling bad for Helen and he wished to let her go home (I doubt it based on his personality though).

what is your biggest dream?

My biggest dream? Oh man, I have many so I don't think I have like one. But what comes to my mind at first is that I don't have to worry about money as much. I'm not asking to become rich or famous but to have enough money so I can pamper my labrador and buy nice things for my parents (and maybe for myself from time to time). Second is that I wish to succeed in my work. I always wanted to use my illustration skills in games or animations. Since I'm very new in the industry it's hard to set foot in the door here in Finland, but it's not impossible! But for now, I will try to find work so I can pay the bills keep my eyes open, and be active. And perhaps finding a romance as well in my life. It would be nice but I'm not trying to find anyone if you know what I mean. Love will come when that time comes and in the meantime, I will focus on myself! :D

They’re all talonmates, so they’re all romantically and intimately involved with each other <3

They’re way too young to be thinking about heartmates at this point (they’re in their twenties in the current timeline and most dragons won’t be picking heartmates until they’re at least in their sixties), and I want to emphasise that heartmates mostly only happen when two dragons want to start a family together. Many dragons are completely fine with never picking a heartmate, either because they don’t want kids, or because they don’t want to pick just one or two of their talons to become hearts. Of course dragons can become hearts without any plans of having eggs together, but I want to make it clear that heartmates does not have to be the end “goal”, they can be completely satisfied with just having their wings and talons uvu (and thorns I guess)

The dream team became particularly close when the flight got separated for a couple of years, as the three of them ended up together and relying on each other to survive. Dream and Sapnap were of course already bonded, Dream and George end up bonding during this period, and Sapnap and George a bit later.

As for going from wingmates to talonmates, George and Dream were the first, mostly due to George’s insecurities about being a grey eyes while pining after Punz, which I talk about here! Sapnap doesn't become talons with them until a little later, mostly because he’s a bit insecure about them only viewing him as a little brother and is unsure how to approach them romantically, so he actually becomes talons with Punz first.  I'm also considering Sapnap and George being thronmates before becoming talons because that would just be funny.

Bad doesn't really have any thoughts about them bonding, it’s a natural and random phenomenon that can happen between any two dragons, and it occurs more frequently the younger a dragon is. So, it’s just normal. If you mean how he reacted when they became romantically involved, he probably expected it. They live in a post-apocalyptic world with a limited amount of dragons left, and dragons only grow romantic interest in dragons they share a bond with, so it was just kind of bound to happen. He’s honestly just happy all his babies have love and affection surrounding them, but he probably did make it a point to give everyone The Talk XD

I barely remember the movie so I looked up the school scene on youtube and the absolute first thing is the other parents asking Nemo's dad if he's funny because he's a clownfish and him saying "no that's a common misconception" and now I can't stop laughing

How does one get to drawing a comic?? Like how long does it usually take? Also motivation?

How does one get to drawing a comic?

I usually start with doodling on paper, jsut quick and simple thumbnails to get an idea of the space you wanna use and the pace of the story. Comic's are just anohter form of storytelling, like learning a language, if you are already familiar with writing (song writing, book writing, poetry..etc) use what you know from there and translate it in your own style. I myself am a word writter, so I started by taking scenes from books, fics, podcasts, animated characters and trying to translte them into comic format.

How long does it take?

from weeks to hours, it will fluctuate, never feel bad about taking longer, every time you enact a process it will be different. The fully coloured comics I did took about about 8 hours each page, since I was doing backgrounds, shading, colour as well as non sketchy line art. But the one I am currently working on (which is greyscale with sketched line art) is taking around 4 hours a page.

Motivation?

I don't wanna say "just get to it" cause that is the antithesis of motivation.

For me personally my motivation is three things:

"I wanna tell this story, and I want to tell it right", I want my ideas to exist in a way other poeple can see.

Secondly, ALL ART IS PROGRESS, every time you sit down and draw, you imrpove.

Lastly, this isn't really motivation, but it's advice that has saved me over and over. "Don't wait until you are 'good enough'", there is no such thing as good enough. I drew shitty shitty eddsworld comics when I was 10, and I kept drawing shitty comics and maybe they aren't so shitty anymore.

There is always someone who is going to happy to hear your story, starting out is tricky, but you got this.

What are each of the Eds' favorite classic viral videos?

Ed: It was @gettingfrilly who said the "Badger Badger Badger" video, which I definitely agree with. Ed would be so at home in the early internet. It is exactly his brand of humor and escapism. I think he would especially dig animated web shows/shorts like "Salad Fingers", "Homestar Runner", "Rejected", etc. I can see him creating some of his own.

Edd: I think Double Dee's exploration of the internet would be comparatively dull. He would love things like coding, informative websites, forums, editing Wikipedia articles, etc. As for actual "viral videos", I think he would be terminally out-of-the-loop. He'll ask his friends about something he "just saw" and they would laugh and tell him that it is months old.

Eddy: He would gravitate the most to comedy skits. Stuff like "Shoes". I think he would also get into those horrible "challenge" genre of viral content like the cinnamon challenge and salt and ice challenge. He would have a real affinity for sending bait-and-switch links to people (Double Dee), ranging from the classic "Rickroll" to "Lemon Party". He thinks it is hilarious.
