To me, it sounds like he's a bit jealous of Daniel. In Daniel's first season with Mclaren, in my opinion, he did pretty good all things considered. Lando at this point has been with Mclaren for two- maybe three seasons and has yet to actually win a race. Now, if my memory serves correct, the closest he's come to winning a race was Monza 2021, which he came in second, but who won that race? His own teammate, Daniel Ricciardo.

Daniel brought Mclaren their first win in almost a decade and the sack of skin (I mean this disrespectfully) went and got a tattoo to commemorate it. So, when I look back at pictures of the podium of Monza 2021 you cannot tell me that somewhere deep down Lando didn't have some sort of resentment towards Daniel for getting the win and not him. And for him to say he has no sympathy for Daniel is absolutely disgusting.
