actually I should remake that play order guide. for MSQ -> SS at least, I'm fairly sure the DLCs after that aren't part of an overarching plot but I could be wrong
#saint.txt#at the very least. new ESO players or players who didn't get that far:#base game to Summerset is one long plot and requires actually a lot of questing for full context.#at the time it was an iterative storyline we experienced as it came out and SS is its conclusion.#I started playing right before Morrowind came out (so 2017) and there are sidequests you need to do to get context.#experiencing the Ebonheart Pact questline up to where you'd converge for Coldharbour is also highly recommended#but not technically required bc if you haven't met her Naryu will have a blitzed intro but it's better if you've met beforehand#bc ESO is reactive like that.#I have a burst of energy mayhaps I WILL remake it
