Do u believe Chan is overprotective with Felix?

Hello! I can't answer with a "yes" or "no" because it takes two in a relationship and I wouldn't want to place sole blame or praise on one person--especially if I don't personally know them. So I guess I'll answer with a VERY LONG response LMAO!

In Chan's case, like we've all seen with the 2022 South Korean airport departures/arrivals, it's good for Felix to have someone who will instinctively help you and protect you from physical harm. Or like the KBS Gayo moving stage that could've ended badly for any of the idols where Felix helped Hyunjin from falling and then you (can barely) see that Chan is instinctively by Felix now. The same goes for someone looking out for your mental well-being. I think both serve as good mediators for each other when one is feeling mental duress (Kingdom, promotions, weight loss, Australian family separation anxiety, etc.).

I don't think Chan's intention is to "clip Felix's wings" so he can just stay in the comfort and safety of the nest. Chan assures Felix so many times publicly (to Felix himself or to VLIVE viewers) that Chan wants to see Felix spread his wings as possibly wide as he can and fly as high as he can.

Do I think that Chan protects Felix to the point that Felix can't be allowed to make his own mistakes and learn from them? Possibly? But I feel like Chan does it out of love and from his own longer personal experience. Chan is probably more privy to the in's and out's of the entertainment industry that he just doesn't want Felix to fall into traps.

Chan might possibly be overprotective in the sense of jealously as well. It's possible he may see potential threats in other male idols as Felix's visuals keep reaching new popularity. Maybe Felix gets/got annoyed by the lack of trust in this department.

I just hope Felix does not take Chan for granted. Chan clearly loves this man, and Felix just needs to let go of what the public will think of them. He got really closed off in 2021, being pushed into the closet. I feel like Felix gets too caught up with trying not to make any new haters that he doesn't see that their opinions will never matter. You don't want to live a life looking back at things wondering why you weren't so happy. His fans will love him no matter what, and he should know that more fans will love him just for loving Chan. I do think that his walls are slowly coming down since late December 2021, so I'm optimistic!
