my personal theory of television is that virtually no shows remain consistently good past five seasons, and so far i have yet to be proven wrong
#i am told that psych is an exception but as i'm still watching season 4 i'm holding off my judgment of that one#so far it is still consistently good!#but nearly every show i've seen that devolved into a disappointing mess would have been FINE if it had just ended on season 5
