It's such a minor thing, I know, but it irritates the hell out of me when people review pants, skirts, etc length by just stating their height because that means almost nothing.
#i struggle with women's clothing partially because pants are so freaking short#i think typical inseam now is supposed to be 27-29 inches which is so short to me#i am 5'4'' so i am not even close to being tall#but my inseam is 32'' (i think a more precise measure is like 31.5-.75)#so people who were a good 5+ inches taller than me used to get my unwanted jeans that were too short#but also a lot of tall size jeans also have an even higher rise so i would have to get low rise tall jeans lmao#because my ribs and hip bones crash into each other constantly#(like. I've had doctors remark on how ridiculously short my waist is/how cramped my torso is)#anyway. say i reviewed full length leggings but i said they were too short and i left my height in the review#i feel like most people might assume that means those leggings would be good for someone with kinda short legs#but in reality they would often be fine for people even taller than me#my partner is closer to 7ft tall and their legs are only about 3-4 inches longer than mine 🙃#i am literally more than half leg#this is one reason why i prefer men's pajama pants and other bottoms because they're usually long enough#women's pajama pants tend to be Capri length on me#i loathe joggers across the board though because they're all so short and it is physically irritating
