Ive found your blog a few months ago and during that time you were on more conferences than I have ever been in my life time or even my boss (an important attorney) has been to hahaha :D

LOL honestly this is a super fair observation! i actually started the job i'm in now in january 2020, was in the middle of setting my conference schedule when the pandemic hit, and then was grounded for years. 2023 just became the year of in-person conferences for me!!

2024 is going to be even crazier. i have conferences in vegas, montreal, and two conferences in the same weekend in boston. i'm planning to attend both conferences at once and just switch badges as i go back and forth. it's going to be wild and very fun.

the good news is that i love conferences, love meeting new people, love talking about my work to people also interested in my work, and my job has gotten way more fun since i've gotten to do this kind of travel. it's also a cool opportunity to travel while making use of an expense account! i've never been to nashville, where i'm going next week, or vegas, and now i get paid to go to those places and expense all the good food i'm going to try! 😊
