I'm really curious to see how the 2 next episodes go, because right now this is not helping Ludinus point. The gods are messy and not that nice but seeing them as mortals make them likable, especially for people who did not care that much about them like BH 'cause now they're relatable people and not just vague ideas !

They are a bickering family and they do not know everything but we knew that and also like I said its kinda a good thing.

We also already knew they allied with the betrayer gods for this and, while it's not ideal, BH are not opposed to doing that themselves (with Tevan, Braius and Opal).

And we knew they destroyed Aeor which is gonna be pretty awful but now we are seeing that the Aeorian were pretty shitty, actually, towards the rest of the world but also to the regular citizens. And anyway, I think BH understand doing fucked up things to save their family/stop their enemy's gods killing plot.

My guess is so that this situation never happen again they decide to put something in place that start a calamity-esque extinction event every x hundred years or when mortals get too close to this kind of advanced magic. To close to godhood.

That would make a terrible choice : do you destroy the gods and change the world forever (possibly in a very bad way) or do you save them knowing they will themselves bring the destruction, and will continue forever
