kinda funny how people on tumblr will say shit like "oh this dish doesn't count as British because it was made by Indian/Jewish/etc. immigrants, I am very anti-racist" meanwhile in certain parts of mainland Europe doner kebab is treated as normal street food, despite not originating in those parts at all! now, Europe is by NO means a bastion of anti-racism as some white Europeans would like you to believe, but the difference in attitude is like night and day.
