#shay speaks#enstars#i finished blackjack... i have thoughts but nothing like. coherent rn#i dont think the hate was really justified though. its not a complete nothingburger or anything#and i think the mayoi lore drop was. a choice certainly#but overall it did have good character development and knowing now vaguely what happens in the next rst event#which i believe happens like. very shortly after this chronologically#i can definitely see things being laid out for tetsu's conflict and development that we'll get in universe#so i think it did what it wanted to do. nothing more nothing less#i might change my mind when i actually get to read universe i have been too lazy#re: reading literally anything else (mhyk and 18trip rn i keep up with in game enstars releases though)#but like. from what i'm aware of happening in universe. the foundations are laid here#and that's always a nice thing to see. continuity between stories
