js had the wildest dream today

so basically me n pretty boy (i can never catch a break from him 😭) climbed over the skl wall (which was rlly high like 8 meters idk how we climbed it) and we ran to a very crowded area cos the skl alarms sounded when we jumped over and the guards would be looking for us

we managed to escape for a while and for some reason we were walking arm in arm?? (astaghfirullah disiswild bro😧) we stop at the funfair for some candy floss n ice cream

we make it to brixton road (the setting reminds me of brixton road) when some biker tapped her helmet while riding past us (means theres police up ahead) we got the feeling that the police was looking for us too so we're like "where the fuck do we go 😧" im like lets go to the underground station so we're abt to cross the road but then a policeman shows up behind us with like a police booth and he wanted our names so we gave him our names n we got arrested

(setting switches to the penitentiary in alice in borderland jack of hearts game)

so we're over there w a few other people (chishiya was there 🤩🤩🤩) but for some reason no one's locked up? we're all doing our own thing (the dream gets really fuzzy from here but we manage to make it out and then pretty boy n i become besties)

what makes it crazy is that literally right before we scaled the wall we were enemies like we hated each others' guts 💀

its been 3 months since pretty boy transferred skls i dont even think abt him anymore why am i dreaming of him 😭😭😭

you bet that biker girl was me i wanna be a biker girl so bad (says i who doesn't have the physical strength to hold the bike upright i would accidentally kms when it falls over me 💀 but im pretty sure im a good bike rider i was a pretty great cyclist 🤡)

Rules: List 10 things you are thankful/grateful for that happened in 2021:

1. I think above everything, the one thing I'm grateful for is that my family made it COVID-free in 2021 (especially since my grandfather needed surgery this past summer) even if we did have a couple scares.

2. My irl friends who were by my side throughout everything horrid this year--even with hundreds of kilometers between us.

3. The online friends I had the privilege to meet ever since I came back to the Naruto fandom. Be it fellow writers, fic lovers, artists that I admired...You guys are amazing! Thank you for this past year of hyping each other up, sharing our thoughts & love for our favorite characters, and even our lives with each other.

4. I was finally able to travel abroad again (visited beautiful Ireland) and that really helped my mental state. Travelling is one of my life's biggest loves and the best respite from my dull and dreary routine. Getting to meet new people, explore different cultures, admire their historical legacy on whichever level, fills my soul with joy and my brain with knowledge.

5. I got to meet my baby nephew that lives in Germany when my cousin and his wife visited us this year. I'm not a person who's naturally inclined to even tolerate children, but my nephew's bubbly laughter became one of the highlights of my summer.

6. Although I didn't get to see much of my friends, or at least not with the same frequency before COVID and quarantines etc, we made our time together count. I'm grateful that I simply one day decided to travel to another city to see them and ended up staying there for a whole month -- in which my focus truly was to have fun and not worry too much about other responsibilities. By doing so, I met with friends I hadn't seen in years (even before COVID), was present for one of my best friend's university graduation and my other best friend's birthday and the trip we took up in the mountains for it. Until then (September) I hadn't realized just how much my heart was aching to physically have a laugh with them.

7. Hated the quarantine may be, but it helped me pass most of my classes in uni. I was unemployed, which as hard as it is on its own, enabled me to sign up for more classes as well. So... silver linings I guess.

8. Got to spend more time with my family, especially with my grandparents. As they're growing older and my life had become more detached from them bc of a million different (if trivial) reasons, I found that this year at least gave me the chance to experience more with them.

9. Another silver lining of the pandemic is that I turned to my imagination in order to not dive deeper into depression. I found the necessary time and a sliver of creativity buried inside me, grasped it and never let go. Not all days are good days, for sure, but writing and lately trying my luck with digital art, has become my lighthouse and my anchor.

10. The community. I mentioned fellow creators in my third point, but I'm grateful for the Naruto fanfiction community in general. The support and love my stories have gotten this year is insane, considering that I've been away for many years, have changed usernames, deleted all other fics I had posted in the past...well, I'm just amazed. Aside from the support my own stories got, I'll forever be grateful to all other writers of the fandom for their own works that have allowed me to indulge in them, to fall in love with these characters again, and even giving me courage to write about this fandom as well.
