Guys please stop projecting slurs into acronyms that are in other languages, please. Yes, A/B/O without the slashes is a slur in australian english and a lot of people in Canadá and USA also know its a slur so we like, write it with the slashes or simply say "omegaverse" (which I highly prefer). But the acronym is *not* a slur when Chinese people apply it to their fics or their fic's summaries or anywhere else. It's the same as CP. In English? Bad, bad acronym. In Chinese fan-spheres? It fucking means CouPle. Do not fucking apply for tag wranglers on AO3 if y'all gonna project meanings that don't belong to other cultures/languages words or acronyms. And yes, this is about the most recent AO3 recluitment post.

Hey so just a psa! A pal recently mentioned that saying a/b/o without the slashes is a slur against aboriginal Australians, which I had no clue about. So! With this new knoweldge going forward I'll refer to it either as a/b/o or omegaverse! Apologies if I had offended anyone I didn't know, but from here on out I'll be sure to use and tag the words properly :)
