okay after 2 days of playing MC Legends. I can confirm, game is fun but what is in it currently does not really justify the 40$ price tag. I would recommend getting it via the Gamepass or waiting until it goes on sale.

not to be that guy again
but i also dont fuck with anybody who talks about "anti culture" or anything like that when it comes to how shit's portrayed in fiction. i super try to stay out of "proship vs anti" discourse bc its stupid as shit and i have other things to worry about than internet discourse. but i still cant help but express my beliefs which relate to the core argument
dont make me tap the sign. fictional exploration of pedophilia/incest/abuse/etc at all isnt the problem, its the way its portrayed. if youre out here portraying that shit as bad and inexcusable, then youre fine. if youre exploring it in a way that doesnt defend it, then youre fine. if youre out here saying that a 40 year old man getting it on with a 14 year old is cute or sexy, or that two brothers having a sloppy makeout is hot, then yeah im going to burn your house down with you in it
the thing about the "what about fictional murder??? ppl romanticize that all the time and you dont see people turning into murderers irl!" argument is that. well. people dont groom people with murder fics. ppl dont show others art of their favs getting murdered and then try to use that to justify them murdering someone. that just doesnt happen. what Does happen is that ppl use incest/pedophilic ships and art portraying it in a "cute" or "fun" light and they use that to justify their grooming actions. that does happen. ive Seen it happen.
and no, im not saying that getting rid of this depiction of these subjects in media or fanworks is going to Stop All Grooming. thats silly. i know that if theyre going to groom someone theyre going to find a way to do it anyway, im not an idiot. but all im saying is that this shit makes it easier, makes it more accessible, and may even make it more normalized, which i hope you can agree is a bad thing.
exploration is one thing! lots of gothic media has "problematic" shit like that in it. lots of fiction has gross shit that the author doesnt condone irl, theyre just exploring it through writing. however, romanticization is another thing. portraying it as cute and fun is another thing. trying to excuse it by saying its fiction is another thing. thats when you ascend to freak status in my book.
youre not ~making a statement~ by declaring yourself a Proud Proshipper--at least not the one you think you are. youre giving me the signal that you dont care about how certain subjects are portrayed even if theyre harmful, and youre telling me that i should stay far the fuck away from you.
last thing i'll say on this is that for the record i am also against purity culture. i dont think ppl should be watering down media to be Acceptable and Pure all the goddamn time. i dont think ppl should stay away from "problematic" media entirely as long as they can use their brains and be critical and not excuse or defend said problematic content. everything is problematic bitch lets get you some fruit. yknow? theres nuance and context to everything; things arent black and white. trying to take the problems out of everything is a waste of effort and frankly makes everything boring as shit. having said all this, the way things are portrayed and how you interact with them are still important factors and i will stand by that
aight rant over o7

My thoughts exactly. Halfway through I realized the directing style seems a LOT like S1 of the Mandalorian, but somehow without the charm. There was now cohesive flow, they would just fade into whatever was next, with no plot transitions. I lost it at crustys waterbed store because 1) they didn't show how they got there, or why, and 2) Percy immediately identifies Procrustes . My boy is not that quick. The whole show is him being very self-actualized, intelligent, and overall pretty serious. There are hardly any lighthearted moments that hold up to the moments in the book. I'd say it could be because i read the books in 5th grade and i took the content as a happier kid, but no, i reread the entire series between episodes 1-6 and I honestly say they still hold up in ways the show didn't even attempt. They have a brilliant cast and did NOTHING with them.
On characters, Gabe seemed harmless, and almost doesnt justify what happened to him at the end, aside from helping the man hunt against Percy.
I do like the extra development they gave Sally as a character, in the book she seems a lot more helpless, even damsel-esque, especially at the hands of Gabe.
Hades. WHY DID HE COME OFF AS SUCH A WEIRD LITTLE WIMP? He wasn't intimidating in the slightest, and even seemed whiny at points. He really felt like just Some Guy. Unimportant. Every other bitch, really, which is frustrating when he plays such a big role in the plot.
Hermes. I never got the lin manuel appeal, prob never will, I just think they had the opportunity to do the funniest shit ever by casting Nick Cannon as Hermes instead, the man who canonically has the most kids amongst all the gods.
The Ares fight scene, arguably the climax of the series, was terrible. It read like an amateur, early-movie star wars light saber fight. Was just overall Bad, and over way too soon. I get that they have to cut things for time (i guess) but it felt way too smash-cut, and like they cut corners everywhere they thought they could and the result was just, not good. ALSO, AS A WHOLE CAN WE JUST FUCKING SCRAP THIS WHOLE 8-EPS-A-SEASON SHIT? THEY LET NO TIME FOR THAT SHIT TO MARINATE AND COOK. BLUEY HAS OVER 40 EPISODES LEARN FROM THEM !!! I hate that format so much. If there's a story worth telling, then take the time to tell it. I don't care if at the end of the season we would've only made it as far as the arch or the theme park, so long as that meant we got the flow and detail it deserves.
All in all, the movie actually does a lot of things right in ways that the show falls short. Maybe in another 13 years someone will make a winning combination of the two.
Rick Riordan constantly trashing the movies for not sticking to his books then releasing a show in which he rewrites everything and loses the spirit of the books entirely
#shit im strangely attached to and will argue abt#Would watch 40hr episodes if we went through the book bar for bar i literally dont care#i watch 6hrs of gay minecraft rp almost daily do NOT listen to me

Insatiable
In the big apple known for its flavors and culinary taste there was a renowned chef named Ethan. He had dedicated his entire life to perfecting the art of cooking and had earned the privilege of working in a prestigious five-star restaurant called “Aqui Comes”.
Outside the kitchen, Ethan had a loving girlfriend named Sophie. She was an intelligent, compassionate woman who supported him through the highs and lows of his life. However she was new to the picture. She doesnt’ know of his promiscuous past or should I say “tendencies”. But despite having such a loving partner, Ethan couldn't shake the feeling of dissatisfaction that loomed over him.
Ethan found himself continuously seeking attention and validation from other women online. It was an addiction that consumed him. He yearned for the thrill of new connections, never content with the love and stability Sophie offered. He justified his actions by convincing himself that he was simply exploring his “options”, searching for something more fulfilling. The hunger made him distracted from work even, he was not enjoying juggling two jobs and a relationship. How about that?
But deep down, Ethan's behavior stemmed from his own selfishness and inability to find happiness within himself. He was trapped in a cycle of craving constant attention and validation from other women-- forever seeking excitement without realizing the pain he was causing Sophie. She spent night after night alone--convinced he was working overtime at the restaurant.
Pushing his early 40’s Ethan's actions turned more bitter and illusioned. He became jaded and developed a disdain for women, taunting younger ones with his experience and knowledge. It was a failed attempt to regain the power and control he felt he lacked. However he did all of this without realizing he was only fooling himself. He thought Sophie would always agree with him about his behavior.
Though Sophie was hurt by Ethan's actions and the emotional void he continuously thrust upon her, she never stopped believing that he could change. Her love for him ran deep, and she thought that one day he might recognize the error of his ways.Ethan moved her into his penthouse and even met his family. He gifted her a promise ring, saying that he would always be there for her.
One evening, as Ethan found himself chatting with yet another woman online, Sophie stumbled upon the truth. She was contacted through Instagram via message from what seems to be a younger woman. The young lady seemed polite, respectful but also disturbed that she went out of her way to find Sophie through Ethan’s social media. The young lady goes by ‘Lu’ and she begins to send over receipts of screenshots of the intimate conversation Ethan had with her. The pain was unbearable as Sophia discovered the depths of Ethan's betrayal, his disregard for their relationship.
So what did she do? She confronted him, tears streaming down her face, packed her things and left. She didn’t get nasty or loud, and she didn’t argue with him. When a man fails in his duties to a woman, she will fail in her loyalty and obligations. And she won't even care.
Most women are faithful by default. Women get emotionally attached and once they're satisfied they remain faithful. When a woman cheats, she just isn't satisfied.
Ethan believed he was entitled to his behavior. As Sophie walked away, heartbroken and defeated, Ethan remained unchanged, unable to fathom the consequences of his choices.
And so, time went on, with Ethan continuing his destructive patterns, never acknowledging the love he had lost. He cooked amazing meals, crafted exquisite dishes, and had immense recognition, but it brought him no joy, no fulfillment. He lived a life of visible success but hidden loneliness.
The years passed, and Ethan remained trapped within himself, collecting temporary moments of pleasure that left him empty and hollow. He never found the happiness he sought because he never looked within himself for it. And in his cold isolation, he failed to realize the beauty of true love and the potential for growth it carried.
And so, the story of Ethan, the renowned chef, continues, an eternal reminder of the consequences of selfishness and the inability to change. His life serves as a lesson to others, showing that even the most talented and accomplished individuals can spiral into the depths of dissatisfaction if they refuse to introspect and grow while also hurting others in the process. A pure reflection of our modern society and the consequence of playing both sides.

Sam WInchester: The Reluctant Hero
When we wonder in frustration, as to why Sam seems to suffer more than Dean does, instead of being angry at a narative bias, or assuming the show runners hate Sam, take into consideration that Sam and Dean, though equally heroic, are different types of heros Dean is a willing hero. He has been proud of his job as a hunter since he was young, even if sometimes he was bored with it, or would have liked to persue a career as a machanic. From what we see in flash backs, Dean was boasting “Im a hero!” since high school, where Sam just wanted to be like every other kid. Sam’s first choice in life is not to be a hero. Not directly anyway. He was studying to become a lawyer. Azazel said he was becoming a Tax Attorney, but Dean saw him as a Criminal Justice Attorney in What is and What Should Never Be, which I think is more fitting for Sam. The indirect hero that would get justice for the victims. He would make a wonderful psycholigist also. Dean would be a very good cop, or soldier, or first responder. This is not to say Sam wouldnt run into a burning building to save a family, he most certainly would, but his interests seem to lie mostly in long term after care. So for Sam to be in the front line with Dean, is something he does because its the right thing, not because it’s his chosen life path (early life anyway. he has stated in his later life that he did chose this life for himself) and this makes him a reluctant hero. The problem with that though, is that in literature, the reluctant hero always suffers the most.
Its no argument that Dean suffers too. Both brothers have broken my heart on many occasions, but Sam’s suffering over any event, stretches far past the season he suffers it in. This is so we, the viewers, have an idea as to how much of a hardship Sam is willing to endure to save Dean and to save the world. Sam and Dean both willingly went to Hell, but their experiences were greatly different, and unfolded on the show wildly unbalanced. Dean sold his soul for Sam, so Sam would live. He didnt want to go to Hell, but he did it willingly. in Dream a Little Dream, Dean said to his dream self, that he didnt deserve to go to Hell, and even though he made the choice on his own, I think we all feel like it’s a horrible punishment for a guy who just wanted his little brother to live. I know I hoped they could find a way to get him out of the deal, but unfortunately, he didnt. He stayed in Hell for 4 months, or 40 hell years. He was tortured by Alistair for 30 years until he became a torturer himself. Cas raised him out of Hell, completely whole, even old scars were gone, but we didnt know for a while that the memories were haunting him. How did we find out? Because he told Sam. He tearfully confessed to Sam on more than one occasion, what happened, what he did, what it felt like at the time and how it was hurting him then. What came of it is that he got to confront his torturer, and even though he couldnt kill him himelf, Sam killed him for him. Dean got justice. Sam on the other hand, also willingly went to Hell to save the world, but he felt like he was mainly at fault for breaking the world in the first place, when it was expressed that it wasn’t only him, and he was completely unknowingly breaking it when he did. He obviously didnt want to go to Hell, but he felt it was the right thing to do. What he got for that though, was his soul in Hell, canonically, for 1.5 years, 180 Hell years. He was torured by Lucifer himself in the most brutal ways imaginable. Cas raised his body, soon after he went to the pit, but we arent given an exact amount of time, whether it be an hour or so, or a few weeks, we just know he was physically out for the majority of the year, but I can’t imagine 10 minutes in the cage with Lucifer is a picnic. However, he came back incomplete, without his soul, which endured unimaginable torture. If that’s not enough, while soulless, Sam did things he wasn’t proud of when he got his soul back, and suffered with this, Once he got his memories of Hell back, a whole new level of suffering began. How was this handled? To our knowledge, he never told anyone the details of his Hell tour. All we know about it, was shown in flash backs and hallucinations, that ended up driving Sam insane. Sam was “fixed” by Cas, by simply shifting the pain to himself, not by Sam talking about it, or confronting his torturer, or anyone killing Lucifer. Sam didnt get justice in any sense, and he still carries all of this with him. He has even had to work along side Lucifer to try to stop Amara. No one even brought this up, even though Sam had very recently been back to the cage and had to face Lucifer and the trauma all over again. Season 13 and still Sam hasn’t been given justice or seen closure when Dean’s was answered in only a few episodes. How can we not see the imballance? Well, when we look at it as Sam is the long suffering Reluctant Hero, suck as it may, it makes more sense. It plays into the narrative that the pain piles on Sam, and Sam stuffs it down. We ourselves may forget this happens, if the show itself didn’t bring it up. The case of Tracy Bell for example. A girl that pops up out of nowhere in 9x2 for no reason than to remind Sam that he let Lucifer out and people got killed. I know a bunch of you blame the writers of the episode for that, as though they hate Sam or Jared, but that was part of the Gardreel story. Something that the producers must have told the writers they wanted. “Bring something painful up from Sam’s past, so that when he feels good at the end of the episode, we can be reminded that theres an Angel healing him from the inside” is probably close to what was said in the meeting. We the viewers need to be reminded that Sam never lets things go, at the same time as he never really speaks of them either. It took 13 seasons, but Dean confirms for us in 13x4 that Sam doesnt admit things or it makes them real, and then he has to deal with it. Sam even confirms it himself in 12X3 when he says he knows Mom is burying herself in hunting instead of dealing, through years of personal experience. Now that we understand this is part of Sam’s character, we can better understand why we dont get to see his emotional POV very often, and his traumas rarely get worked out. The differences between Sam being the reluctant hero, and Dean being the willing hero, manifest in many ways. Dean gets very antsy if its been a few days that they havent had a hunt to go on. Sam however, is content to stay home researching. Their short time of trying to live a domestic life with their girlfriends shows reluctant vs willing also. While Sam was with Amelia, he had nothing to do with hunting except reading the news paper and believing other hunters were taking care of things. He refused to tell Amelia about that part of his life. Dean didnt hunt, but he kept it at arms reach. He kept devils traps in the door ways, a rosary in water under the bed and a gun nearby, and he let Lisa know all about that part of his life, and even tried to live it and maintain a life with her. Dean is the kind of guy who will show you every scar and tell you the details of how he got it, while Sam will hide his scars. Dean suffers when innocent life is lost, but he holds on to the fact that he’s saved more people than he’s hurt and it can help him make it day to day. Sam feels like he failed if he didnt save someone. This is precicely why Sam suffers the burdens of his wrongs for years, and Dean doesnt. Dean did a lot of crap while he had the MoC but he hasnt had to visibly suffer from it after the fact. Sam however, is reminded of his poor choices for seasons after the fact. Now since its not a matter of Sam goes to jail for things and Dean doesn’t, we only need to realize its part of maintaining a character trait for us, so we dont forget that Sam never forgives himself and suffers for years over what he considers failures. Now, this willingness vs reluctance shows in their relationship also. Im not going to try to prove one loves the other more, because I am convinced that Dean is #1 in Sam’s world and Sam is #1 in Dean’s world and they love each other as much as any two people can love each other (to steal from the mouth of JP) they both take care of each other, and neither had to be told to do so. Even when Sam was too little to actually take care of Dean, he still did the best he could by wanting to be with him, and giving him gifts. Dean didnt have to learn 100 ways to make mac and cheese, he did it because he wanted to make Sam happy. That being said, lets move on… Sam’s reluctance in their relationship, isnt that he loves Dean less, or doesn’t want to protect him, but his biggest fear is letting Dean down. He can save Dean’s life a million times but considers himself a failure if he let Dean down. Dean’s biggest fear however is Sam dying. He can let Sam down, he can piss him off, but if Sam isnt alive and well, Dean considers himself a failure. When Sam assumed Dean was dead in S8 and didnt look for him, he was going on a promise that he wouldnt look for him. Since we didnt get enough insight to Sam’s state of mind at the time, Im going to assume that Sam was crushed that Dean was dead, but for himself, it was more important, that he didnt let him down by breaking that promise. He saw how angry Dean was when Dean thought he made a deal that raised him from Hell, so he “knew” Dean would be disappointed if Sam looked for him now. Dean however, needs Sam to be alive, so he will risk Sam being disappointed and possibly hating him, as long as he’s alive. So now in S11 its brought up again, that Sam didnt look for Dean in Purgatory, and Sam hadnt forgiven himself for it, its not the writers hating Sam/Jared, its showing us that Sam still hasnt gotten over letting Dean down. He’s a long suffering character, and doesnt see that he was justified in his actions, but instead blames himself for inaction. This fits right into Sam not finding a Win in a case where he couldnt save everyone. He knows he helps more people than he hurts, but the fact that he hurts people at all outweighs the good in his eyes. There will be a time Im sure, and hopefully soon, given the events of the last 2 seasons, that Sam may collapse under all this weight. Maybe he will have some time to voice how badly things hurt him. But if he doesnt. try not to write it off as no one caring about his character, but understand his character feels like a burden if he unloads to people, even, and especially to Dean, who Im sure he believes has enough burden on his shoulders, without Sam sharing his. So try to be patient my friends. This would come out differently if it was a written story. The writer would be able to show us inside Sam’s head easier than they can this way. The only way into Sam’s head is through someone vocalizing it. If Sam does, then we dont see him burying things, if someone else does, it sometimes looks like hes being picked on for no reason…. but there is a good reason. It’s to keep his character consistant as the longsuffering reluctant hero. By @missjackil

and whilst im on it and dont Really Fuckin Want to have to reiterate any more, heres a goddamn breakdown okay
i hate the way this fandom treats gay people.
gay men are not written as human beings. they are written as sex toys. they are written to be abused and raped for sexual gratification. and honestly i find this fucking disgusting, that another human would see the abuse and think its hot.
this applies doubly for fics sexualizing child abuse and childhood sexual assault.
i sincerely hope you seek help as to why you find raping and abusing people (especially children) sexy, because its just... not healthy.
the reason why im so against these types of things is because
fanfic is usually gay kids first experiences with gay media, especially if theyre still in the closet. this can and will lead them into thinking abuse is normal and they should expect it from their partners.
because of this, im also totally for protected and clean and safe sex in fics too,
abusers will use this content to groom their victims. (it happened to me, i was sodomised at age 13 thanks to works like these).
its a lame excuse to say “well, SANE people would understand its just fiction” because like. if you tell any adult of any disposition “this sexual act feels good” theyre likely to attempt it.
“i didnt write this for abusers so its a misuse” well if you write content like this, you need to be ready to handle the consequences of it BEING misused. its your creation, you have to deal with the consequences that a kid got attacked because of your fic
if you look at kids being abused and find it sexy, thats so immoral and unethical i cant even begin. why do you sexualise kids. thats disgusting.
“ive put an authors note and tagged correctly so i can do what i want” yeah because ~everyone knows~ abusers heed warnings and tags. its a cop out so you dont have to consider what it is youre actually writing.
seeing these situations as sexually gratifying is fetishizing abuse. thats why i call it that, because thats what it is.
now, this isnt me saying you cant write “dark issues”. i just want ppl to think about the angle theyre portraying them at.
this is a BIG DIFFERENCE and this difference is IMPORTANT.
also, fic is in so way shape or form comparable to videogames, porn, or movies, since all three things are regulated and can be banned. if a porn actor loses one piece of documentation they arent allowed to act. movie and games have been banned before for intense violence. all three still depict graphic sexual violence from times to time, and this is CONSTANTLY battled against by activist groups.
fic is much more open world and pretty much only taken down if its plagiarism. there are no restrictions and can be accessed by anyone, and thats why its important to talk about these issues.
as for why the “coping mechanisms” excuse doesnt work:
if youre reliving your abuse with these fics thats not healthy. especially if youre sexualizing and romanticizing it. all youre doing is justifying in your mind that you deserved it, or that it wasnt really abuse.
i know it can be difficult to move past romanticizing your abuser (most victims do this), but its the best thing to do. otherwise youre putting yourself in danger of being abused again either by the same person or someone else. you need to understand that abuse is bad, and you need to understand how bad the extent of your abuse was in order to begin moving forward. this process wont happen if youre refusing to take off your rose tinted glasses.
you cant write a detailed sexual fic of a minor being abused and say “fiction doesnt affect reality so writing this means nothing” and then in the same breath say its how you “cope”. thats hypocritical since youre literally saying it affects your reality.
coping mechanisms can be unhealthy! i used to self harm to cope, and it was bad for me! i was hurting myself! if i said i dealt with my anger by beating up my boyfriend, that would be unhealthy and abusive!
this fandom wrote a fic where 17 yearold link who is implied to have a mental handicap gets drugged and raped by 40+ year old rhett and the comments were saying it was hot when he cried out in pain. this fandom wrote and supported a fic where jewish link gets recused from nazi germany by rhett. this fandom wrote and supported a fic where stevie gets corrective raped by r&l. this fandom wrote and supported a fic where rhetts WIFE jessie dresses up and roleplays as link whilst rhett has sex with her.
and away from fic, people ALWAYS oversexualise. on every post is a sexual comment. ive banned them on my own posts and i still get them, even after saying i dont consent to them.
no one says anything because yall react poorly to ANY criticism and people are afraid of yall.
and anyway:
i namedropped because they namedropped me. calling me a little shit and an ass and a bully. ive been called homophobic slurs. ive had people tell me im not really gay because im trans as well as other transphobic bs. my friends have received asks calling me names because they dare to interact with me.
the anon sending me bullshit left a trail on my statcounter so it was easy to point out who was sending me hate. if youre saying im stalking youre giving me too much credit for what was literally copy and pasting an ip address into google. i dont care that much about you to waste my time like that. im sorry for that but only that.
#txt#ethan and the rhinkfandom#long post#@ anyone seeing a fandumb mom talking abt me: show em this post#and tell em to stop talking abt me theyre wasting their breath lmao

That being said, lets move on... Sam’s reluctance in their relationship, isnt that he loves Dean less, or doesn’t want to protect him, but his biggest fear is letting Dean down. If Sam does, then we dont see him burying things, if someone else does, it sometimes looks like hes being picked on for no reason.... but there is a good reason. It’s to keep his character consistant as the longsuffering reluctant hero.

From Me to Unconditional Love and Acceptance
This past month I have been very aware and focused on something that I have been discussing with Tom Campbell (and others) and writing about for the past couple of years: How to come from a place of unconditional love and acceptance. We often are too focused on how others affect us or when something happens; we unconsciously look at how it impacts us. An example would be when interacting in a relationship and there is a conflict we automatically look at what this conflict means to us. We take whatever the conflict is personally and we react personally and this means we react from a place of ego. We allow what is happening to trigger us emotionally and we perceive it from a pattern that has created a story in our lives.
Let’s give this even more meaning and look at it from a pattern of abandonment as this is a trigger most people understand. So we are engaged in a conversation with another person – and this could be any relationship although an intimate relationship often has more of a charge to it – and one of us gets triggered first and that often leads to the other person also getting triggered. Now we first have to understand that both of us have grown up having different experiences which leads to having different triggers and that leads to having different stories that we have created. Our experiences define our lives by the age of seven. By the age of seven we do not have an emotional understanding of our experiences and we don’t consciously understand what is happening to us. However our brain likes to clump our experiences together so that our ego can protect us from being hurt. Let’s understand that by the age of seven nothing is fully processed and our pain and fears are very uncomfortable. We make assumptions and beliefs from these experiences and this leads to a story being created around abandonment that may not even make logical sense at this later point in our lives. However this experience continues to trigger us because since the age of seven we have had plenty of experiences that have been clumped together that have added to our understanding of abandonment. We have had friends, family, partners and co-workers and others leave us in some way that we have interpreted as abandonment – even when it is just an interpretation or perception that they have left ‘us’.
Now, moving forward 20, 30, 40, or 50 years and we engage in a relationship that is triggering someone else or still triggering ourselves. We unconsciously interpret it as abandonment. We get triggered or we trigger someone else who then triggers us and we react. We react the same way as we did when we were seven. We might not have a temper tantrum like we did when we were two but the emotional impact, the emotional charge, is the same. We perceive this as something happening to us personally. We experience this event as the same ‘story’ we have created and we react mostly unconsciously from a place where this hurts. We react!
If we are on a path that is evolving towards love this requires us to not take anything personally – especially things that impact us negatively – but rather for us to move into a place of unconditional love and acceptance. To evolve towards love we must consciously understand and see when we want to first react and then, instead, take charge of our personal view of the situation. We want to become aware of our emotions. When we are with another and we are sharing a conversation with that person or even sharing space and they get upset we typically go into survival mode and our ego looks to justify, blame or judge who is right or wrong. When someone does something we don’t like or want, we automatically add this experience to our story and our ego is in charge. We have to understand that every single person has their own story that was created by the age of seven. Everyone has their own issues, their own ego, their own pain, fear and suffering that is ‘real’ to them.
We have to be able to ‘see’ our automatic reactions as what they are. Then we have to be able to ‘see’ the person in front of us as also having an automatic reaction. And this is where it gets interesting; this is when we can make a choice. The first choice is: do I come from a place of ‘me’ and how is this affecting me? Do I automatically justify, blame and/or judge this situation or person as abandoning me? Do I add this to my story of abandonment? Or can I step outside of my initial response and make another choice? Can I then look from a place of ‘other’ and see that no matter what is said or done that this person actually believes they are trying to persevere through their pain and their own abandonment story? They are trying to do what is ‘right’ for them and it is just ‘their’ story when they get triggered. They are justifying, blaming and judging the situation based on their own experiences and story created by the age of seven.
On this path towards evolving towards love we can become more conscious by knowing that whenever we are triggered or feeling uncomfortable that this is just a reaction to a story or experience we had in the past. Then we can really ‘see’ and hold space for another while we are with them. We can create a safe space of consciousness and acknowledge that when someone reacts it really has nothing to do with us and instead of reacting to our emotions, we can allow those emotions to get provoked without our reactions or these emotions getting in the way. We can learn a great deal about the other person when we don’t go into reaction mode with them. We can change our story and stop or heal our unconscious reactions. Plus, once we can hold space and BE from a place of consciousness we can see the “other’s” fears and triggers. We can sit with them and not feel our own pain and fear. We can stop the pattern or our reactions and come from a place of ‘truth’ as we understand that both the pattern and/or our reactions are triggered and our reaction and the other person’s reactions are not rational but from a perspective of a young child who doesn’t understand. This gives space for everyone to come from an authentic place and not automatically react. It offers a ‘safe’ place, something that not everyone has experience with. Let’s give them a safe place. It will be good for all of us.
My focus on choosing not to be triggered by myself or others this month was a wonderful opportunity for me to understand this concept from a place of expansion and awareness. It was an opportunity for me to see how others can get triggered because they are only coming from a ‘me’ place. These experiences have allowed me to quiet my anxiety and quietly hold authentic space for another person to BE and for me to see the bigger picture and move towards my evolution towards Love! You may want to take this upcoming month and focus on the same thing and see how your understanding can expand. Perhaps creating a ‘trigger journal’ where you write down every day what has triggered you and see if you can chose to not get embroiled in the emotion but rather observe it and see it from a perspective of unconditional love and acceptance. Happy Awareness!

Investigating The benefits Of Natural Milk
Investigating The advantages Of Organic Milk
In other words, wholesome raw milk necessarily implies organic farming practices that solely small operations can present with integrity. In 2008, the Cornucopia Institute published a scorecard that sheds the light on the practices of 110 dairy manufacturers of natural milk and remains to be thought-about the perfect reference available to customers. The trail leads to a foregone conclusion: organic milk has no rival. Meet Our Staff : natural trumps, for the sake of your well being and the cows. Simultaneously, the milk foyer PR machine went into motion, supported by such organizations as the middle for International Food Issues (CGFI), disparaging the claims that organic milk held greater health benefits than regular milk. The public grew confused as to what organic actually stands for and whether the price premium is justified. The public scored a victory in 2010 when the USDA passed new laws, effective as of final June, designed to tighten the necessities imposed on dairy farms to earn the organic label.
Canada outlawed its sale in 1991 on the grounds of protecting public healthwhich doesnt forestall its followers from getting it since drinking it is permitted by legislation. Things started getting complicated when some industrial dairy farms, lured by the promise of this rising market, tried to enter the fray with a view to enhance their margins. Nature, contemporary from the cows udder, full of all the enzymes and nutrients (including good bacteria) that assure its proper metabolization and digestion. By means of heat, the pasteurization process destroys the enzymes and most vitamins, hence the problems sometimes denounced by the anti-milk crowd. On the one hand, they argue that pasteurization and extremely-pasteurization, processes that heat the milk briefly to kill bacteria and pathogens, are designed exactly to prevent such epidemics, making the milk clear and consumption-ready. The primary one is that ruminants must receive 30% of their dry meals intake from grazing, which means that they must feed in a pasture a minimum of 120 days a yr.
NO. Cow milk is designed by Nature to support the expansion of new-born calves till they reach grazing age, to not feed people. Many research link the consumption of cow milk to allergies, ear and tonsillar infections, bedwetting, asthma, intestinal colic, intestinal irritation, intestinal bleeding, anemia and diabetes. Cow milk lactose is an enormous molecule that compromises the optimum well being of younger youngsters whose lactase is designed to metabolize human milk. Children are endowed until the age of 4 or 5 with lactase, the enzyme that's essential to metabolize lactose (milk sugar). Studies had been printed to show that there isn't any distinction in nutrient content material and that the genetically engineered growth-hormone rBST, designed to increase milk production, is as harmless to customers as pure development-hormones which can be a traditional incidence in milk. The one means to attain this was by way of bending the organic label necessities in order to incur as small a production value improve as potential. This strategy included protecting large herds (hundreds of heads), giving them a strip of uncooked dirt as a technique to comply with the pasture grazing requirement, and feeding them grain. For best health advantages, cut brussels sprouts and let them sit for 5 minutes, to extract the utmost well being giving parts, and then steam them.
D and protein. Important to advertise the right development of younger youngsters, milk is also a major consider giving adults robust bones and contributes to lowering the chance of colon cancer. In adults, the issues seem centered extra round heart disease and arthritis, allergy, sinusitis, even leukemia, lymphoma and cancer. You'll be able to do that by eating more dark inexperienced leafy vegetables, whole grains, seafood, beans and nuts. A glass of milk brings more controversy, questions and confusion nowadays than it does nutrients. And final however not least, a study revealed in January 2011 by the University of Newcastle seems to have put an end to the raging scientific debate about milk. reply the proponents of uncooked milk, at the other finish of the spectrum. Note that raw milk shouldn't be legally available in all 50 States. Raw is where its at. Existing natural farms have until June 2011 to conform. It is thought to have originated within the thirteenth century in Brussels, Belgium and therefore its identify.
