i think, hm! itd be extremely difficult for deck to actually gain friends. i mean sure he can, but ‘ friends ‘ in his book are simply acquaintances to others. he’s a very reserved boy and keeps most things 2 himself, he likes to act n show the ppl who know him that he’s an actual mystery. he loves being an enigma 2 others! the root to this was bc he feels ( or BELIEVES rather ) that one cause of his downfall was his kindness to others, how he was so open and trusting to almost everyone he meets. he always gives ppl second chances which would explain why he approaches ka/tsuki a lot even until the end, despite all the bullshit and bullying he’s caused on him.
iz/uku would rarely show a state of vulnerability unless you crack his shell well enough. he can ... and does pretend that he’s like, friends w/ someone but truth be told he could care less about you. even if you ARE friends he’d still act regularly, but somehow ... softer, in a way.
tbfh i think its just cruel for the world or like himself 2 actually rip himself apart bc originally, he was the opposite of this and he despised violence. he wants to do things for the GOOD but ig giving ppl who hate chaos anger just ... releases smth MORE violent than a person who actually likes being violent. it just ruins them n causs them to rip themselves apart, ruining both themself and those around him in the process which is what happened 2 deck
