I don't think it's connected in any literal way, just as a clever form of foreshadowing from the creators. Sentimonsters are created by and controlled by their amoks, which are feathers. Adrien having an allergy to feathers just means that Adrien has always had some (negative) connection to feathers.

You can also see his allergy to feathers foreshadowing the fact that his mother died using the peacock miraculous (I remember it was brought up a lot as an argument in favor of that before it was essentially confirmed). His whole life is haunted by feathers, in a way. They created him, they are him, they killed his mother, and now they control him. ... and also they make him sneeze lmao
