#like i despise dutch and find him to be a pretty egrigiously awful man but not for 'betraying his sons'#sure like yea that was disappointing#but im not big on his whole 'exacerbating a genocide for my personal benefit' shtick is pretty evil regardless of he's fully cognizant#but i think some ppl grossly misunderstand him as a character when it comes to his dynamics w arthur john and hosea#i do not think he's just so evil awful terrible selfish man who cares abouts nobody but himself#i think he's just probably mentally ill.......u kno....#i find him deeply interesting and ripe for analysis and his dynamics r so rich and deep and i love him#but also id throw him into an active volcano
