i'm usually pretty chill with media i'm watching/reading, i actually like reading long takes i might absolutely disagree with (just solemnly shake my head while doing it) bc it helps to broaden the perspective and enriches the whole experience but seeing that unnecessary backlash and hate has an actual impact on the source material is so sickening and disappointing

#only friends #ofts #topmew isn't even the pair i'm most invested in #i don't care that much about shipping #i just want to see good well written and executed story in its entirety as creator intended it #but ig creator's intention is more about pleasing some internet clowns idk #i'm just really salty and bitter about learning how many scenes were cut out #probably not the first time it happened in media i watched but before i lived in blissful ignorance
