That would be so interesting to see ngl Nick and Luke bonding over being able to play guitar and being under Caleb's control, but also being head over heels for Julie, except once Nick connects the dots, he realizes that this is the someone else Julie said when she rejected him.

jatp would defo breaks some expectations without losing their cliche energy. Imagine, the boys finding out about her crush on Nick except that it's a former crush, so while they try to help Julie with her crush on Nick — except they're mostly embarrassing her and making Nick laugh. — our fav jock tries to talk Luke into Julie, especially bc Luke hasn't talked abt his feelings out loud but hum, his eyes are talking for him.

Nick and Luke are somehow opposites but once they bond they actually become friends bc Luke would seem a though guy to conquer, bc he'd definitely be that kinda friend that bonds by making fun of each other, but Nick is more of a people pleaser so he wouldn't really be on the same vibe as Luke. It'd take a moment for Luke to realize that if Nick was a guy on his highschool, he might be a overconfident jerk, but this Nick is kinda insecure and awkward, and wouldn't make him feel like he's some sorta "competition".

It'd be fun if after the possession, Nick could be left with a weird ability to see ghosts so could actually bond with the boys and help Julie out with her hologram band. how we like roadie!Nick? Just so we could see shenanigans between them like Nick playing with Luke and Reggie, failing to do vocal and being bugged bc of it, doing roadie stuff like getting fliers and shirts (ones that won't disintegrate in water) and gossiping with Flynn about Julie and her crush on Luke.

we could also have Alex judging Nick for his dancing skills in a interaction that might go like "I thought you were good at dancing. We saw you dance." "That was back when Caleb was pulling the strings. Not gonna lie, the guy knew his moves, now I'm never gonna be able to dance like that. I kinda miss him." "...okay" "I'm working that with my therapist." Or even Alex just saying that he should stick with the guitar and the basketball. How great would be if Nick tells Alex that one of his dads is actually a famous choreographer in Hollywood?
