the thing about studying a career that is 99 percent practical is that at a certain point you get used to how hard producing physical pieces is but you forget about theory. and then you don't bat an eye at having to spend 15 hours a week doing lino prints but you're screaming crying trying to finish a 15 slide presentation

#citing resources sucks ass!! i love writing and i am still proficient at it #like i don't think it's a skill i'm ever going to lose #but i've gotten so acquainted with graphic and plastic projects that it's harder for me to put together a powerpoint #despite the fact that i can do it from the comfort of my bed!!!#i've touched more ink rollers in six months than i've done APA format citations #and that's coming from someone whose high school education was literally writing papers without end. it's a crazy switch
