dabi saying that the league was a means to an end hits different after ch. 350 because his main goal isn’t to kill endeavor, his father’s death is just part of the whole process. endeavor dying is like a last supper kind of thing for him, his main goal is to die in a way that has some kind of meaning and that’s why he couldn’t repair on admiting he cared about other people because everything is just meaningless in the end

#dabi #bnha #hmm #it's like he's trying to find meaning not in his life but in his death #he went from crying in front of natsuo everynight asking what was the meaning of his existance #to coming back home only to realise that his death meant nothing to his father and that nothing had changed destroyed him #he's already admited that for him this war is the perfect place for his funeral and that his goal is to die #and taking endeavor down with him feels like his own way of finding justice and to give meaning to his death #im sure he's not going to die idk if it will be because of the phoenix theory or from something else #but i read a tweet the other day of someone saying that when he realises he isn't dying its like the failure complex over again #like he can't even die properly #i just *screams*#i need hori to give me a few panels of natsu and dabi seeing each other not just for dabi coming to terms with everything but also for natsu #this post makes no sense #but i've been reading some chapters from the war arc again and uggghhhhhh #that whole panel of dabi telling hawks that one person with a single conviction has the power to change the world #and that hawks life was another thing he didn't care about just like the league #and he was talking about himself there #*SCREAMS INTO PILLOW*#i need ch. 351 idk if to stop spiraling over 350 or to feel even more insane than now
