gddddd i need irl autistic friends again so fucking bad
#N posts stuff#i'm so irate bc there IS an autism social group thing in town here#but it is a group that functions under the local college here#and since i am neither a student there nor particularly college-aged anymore i don't think it's accessible to me#but i have considered reaching out and asking if they'd at least know about other resources in the area#but i also don't know if that's like. completely inappropriate so i haven't#there's also a volunteer group that works with disabled adults that i know about bc my mom has a friend whose daughter attends#but i'm. very Wary of 'volunteer groups' bc i tend to find the other volunteers frustrating#not least for the way i've heard people talk about those they;re volunteering With#but also bc the last time i tried that the other volunteers alienated me almost immediately upon finding out that i was Also disabled#and that's incredibly uncomfortable so. but i'm not fucking around i need to be around other autistic people again#ugh it is SO much easier to find each other when we are all being bullied in public school
