tl;dr Ariadne’s Entourage escapes the coup/Imperial Space and find refuge on a large mining planet where they have to go underground to avoid The Demagogue’s spies and assassins.  Naturally, Judd gets a job in the mines (they’re always hiring and it’s fairly easy to pick up), since they have to make their own income now; Ariadne is finally able to do something with her archeology interest at one of the major universities, so they work in very different circles.

The idea for the pic came from the fact that Judd works crazy late hours in the mines, and sometimes Ariadne stays up late to have some time alone with him while the kids are KO’d.  They don’t have a whole lot of time to  themselves, but enough to share some quiet moments together :>
