#listen it's out of my reach until the market calms tf down i KNOW that#but i'm trying to find my own place and sweet fuck rental prices are batshit#and it'd probably be cheaper to buy according to my tax guy#so this is partly logical behavior!#but it's largely just me getting depressed bc i keep finding houses that are great but also fucking...$350k+#i'm just looking for a 2 bed/2 bath with a decent kitchen; a garage; and maybe something crazy like storage space#that's IT#it's gonna be me and a(n eventual) dog ffs; i'm not asking for a 5k-square-foot mansion#i joke a lot in tags about giving up various organs for things but fuck if that doesn't look like a necessity for homeownership#bc how tf else am i gonna manage a big enough down payment to make monthly payments manageable?
