do you ever lay awake thinking about implications of those operation paperclip references in rocky horror or are you normal
#i didn't know about THAT particular callback#rhps callbacks aren't very popular here in australia#which is weird#since we invented following up the angels' lyric “am i ever gonna see your face again?” with “NO WAY; GET FUCKED; FUCK OFF!!"#which is basically a callback#like you can get it on shirts and earrings and everything; and the angels encourage it#like how barry encourages being called an asshole and sees it as a form of praise for him playing such a great role#like i went to a rhps screening in melbourne#it being new year's and people probably having other things to do might have been a factor#but the only people doing callbacks were me; the guy behind me; and a (probably very drunk) girl at the front#who i'm pretty sure was only doing them to make her large group of friends laugh#and no one knew that i was dressed as nurse ansalong#but after i stood in front of the screen to do columbia's tap dance; i was told by a stranger that i “was fabulous”#and in hindsight i'm like “was that a shocky reference or just an interesting choice of adjective?”#overall i think rhps screenings are better here in adelaide#like people lit up the front of the screen with their phones when i performed columbia's bit in rose tint my world#but no rhps screenings in australia do the red v on newcomers' foreheads and i think that's really dumb#also there is ONE SHADOWCAST in the ENTIRE COUNTRY#and i've considered starting another but i don't want to have to run it; i'll just provide ideas and maybe play columbia#but i'm not staying up to 1am and then studying online the next day#i love rhps shadowcasts but not that much#also in reference to “i do a lot of drugs” BOY HAVE I GOT A SATIRICAL HORROR-COMEDY MOVIE-MUSICAL RECCOMENDATION FOR YOU#check my most popular tags; you'll find it#and thanks for calling me friend on our first interaction; that's very sweet of you#and i absolutely did ask for this response; your dive into the rabbit hole is very interesting and helpful#rhps#rocky horror#tw nazism#tw ableism#cw drugs
