If someone posts something about their au that's similar to "Big Popular AU", don't fucking tag it with the big popular au's tag
Not only is it fucking rude and makes it seem like big popular au has monopoly on that au, but blocking tags is a wonderful thing here and so some people won't see it. And if big popular au's tag is your way of categorising that idea, just use a different tag
#yes this is specifically about linked universe#don't get me wrong i actually really like that au#but i keep seeing other people's aus tagged as linked universe when they're clearly not#and i know some people don't like the au (which is fair enough) and so they have the tag on block#meaning that they miss out on all the other wonderful aus#guys one creator doesn't have monopoly on an idea#so treat the other creators with a bit of fucking respect#and let them have their own tags#(so tempted to specifically tag linked universe but im not going to)
