my annoying trait is that after watching too many instagram reels, i’ll become convinced that i can pick up a hobby like. fuckign. woodworking. mixology. i just need to create something or i’ll go insane

#caroline talks #. . . . i am determined to learn how to make my own furniture one day #no clue when that's gonna happen #but i just saw someone on instagram reels be like '<333 i'm gonna build a kitchen island for my girlfriend <3333'#and i was just very obsessed #there are other people on instagram reels who do woodworking projects #there's this one guy who i can't remember #who was like 'my mom wanted a new desk! but it would cost 5000 bucks. so i made her one instead <333 grand total was 300 bucks' worth #of materials'#and i know that like. additional craftsmanship + time is money #so that probably at least partially justifies the 5k price tag #but still. the way i. yeah i think it would be cool #if i learned how to make my own kitchen islands and tables at least #even though i failed so hard at building even. fuckign legos
