#if y'all don't know by now i'm taking a semi-hiatus (everything's queue'd!!) bc i'm busy with (not exactly school but) cheer#so i got made it on the cheer team and the season started when second semester did and i became busier with comps after comps#a small update: both teams (allgirl and coed) have ranked in the top3 for all our comps (BLESSED!!)#coed competed in 4 comps and allgirl in 3 (we missed the first one bc i dislocated my elbow smh)#coed placed 1st three times and 2nd once // allgirl placed 1st once and 2nd twice#if we stay within the top2 on our next comp (cities) next weekend we'll get to compete in provincials!!#if we don't allgirl's coach has planned to enter our team at another comp#bc we still have some leftovers from our budget due to that one comp we missed bc of me#(the coed team's coach however doesn't have any plans yet if they don't get into provincials)#but anyway my point is: for my first year of cheering with a high school team its been a pree long and good season to me!!#and i kinda regret quitting the team in gr.10 (which became the reason they didn't take me in gr.11 when i tried to tryout again)#but i guess i couldn't really do anything about quitting in gr.10 bc my mom didn't support me and refused to pay for my fees#(and to a jobless gr.10 student who doesn't get that much allowance either ~$400-500 cheer fees was too much)#i'm hoping that we keep this streaks going and that we end up going to provincials#its harder tho bc there's more teams competing with us at cities than at our previous comps#idek who i'm talking to but if y'all happen to read this: please with us luck!!#jem speaks
