i finally got around to watching trigun stampede! visually it was gorgeous. however, a lot of the emotional beats felt like i missed a step in actually attaching to the character/setting. many times i got the feeling like i should've been emotionally invested but wasn't. the irreconcilable siblingship was fun though i enjoyed the irreconcilable siblingship

#i did just binge it from start to finish #so maybe i need time to process it #or it was better to experience as the episodes were released..?#but yeah idk. i enjoyed the duality of rosa #who liked vash enough but had to think abt her town and her kids and livelihood #but i didn't rlly connect w rollo ... or the twin guns(?) guy. i already forgor his name #wolfwood's childhood friend #visually very fun very cool! i can tell a lot of care went into the visdev #and production. but i feel like the storytelling fell flat for me #✨
