ok so it was meant as an ask for @smiledog15578 about the headcanon for the egos but it.... got out of hand and idk it might me me but it would feel weird to send it as a question so im posting it normally:

my comforty-angsty headcanon is whatever damien and actor had going on during college i just feel them being ROOMMATES but it's like the 20s so its rough, there's a lot of coming to terms with your sexuality involved plus internalised queerphobia ect. I had this fanfic idea that Actor is someone who escaped from his homophobic parents that lived in the manor and he didn't know what to do with himself and where to go so Damien kinda illegally sneaked Mark into his dorm and let him live there since he's his closest friend and the DA is also there. So yeah. Mark started to pursue his true dream: acting so he is wandering from casting to casting without success until he gets a role in a picture directed by someone new in the industry but it turns out that they don't have a full script yet so Mark helps them and becomes a co-director. Unfortunately in the middle of the shooting the director's funds end and Actor got emotionally engaged in the project but he also can't help bc he doesn't have his own funds and if it wasn't for Damien and DA he would be living on the streets so yeah tough times for him but GUESS WHAT IT TURNS OUT THAT THERE IS AN ANONYMOUS DONATION AND THEY CAN FINISH FILMING HMMMM WHO COULD POSSIBLY DONATE THIS (actor has one brain cell and doesn't realise its Damien also it's not so clear how he got the funds hahaha I hope it won't be used to try and destroy his political career later hahaha *in cahoots*) film becomes a MASSIVE hit like industry changing artpiece and now Mark is a star and all of this is happening while they are falling for each other and eventually are together but ANGST cuz at the same time they both have feelings for DA but they won't tell each other about it because it's the 1920s AND THE WORST PART IS THAT IF MARK DAMIEN AND DA HAD A TALK ABOUT IT THEY ALL WOULD HAVE ENDED IN A (probably secret) RELATIONSHIP BUT NO it all goes wrong Mark sees that Damien is obviously in love with someone else but he didn't figure out with who (yes hes an idiot) and this bitch can't have a healthy chat with his bf so he puts himself in more film industry work moves out from dorm to the manor, that he finally inherited from his (now dead) parents and kinda breaks up with Damien plus he feels guilty because he himself fell a little for the DA, Damien with final law school exams has little to no time and energy to work on his relationships, even though he tries desperately and he also feels like he has to choose between Actor and DA and he just can't so he decides to not engage romantically with any of them and eventually he and Mark break up. The DA also affected by exams and their life, they love them both, never told them because they were together, DA is also unaware that Mark and Damien have romantic feelings for them (and DA didn't want to ruin their relationships) and when Damien and Mark break up DA didn't know how to react, very awkward situation, they help Damien get through it, same with Mark but he kinda tries to cut the DA and their help out (it didn't work fully but their relationship is weird rn) and a few months after our officially now lawyers get into politics yada yada there's a lot of story but I wanted to get this stuff out holy shit its 2am now wtf happened now
