When I watch cooking reality shows I often long for them to give the contestants several days for just, like, *one* of the challenges so we can see what these same people would be like if they had time to make to-do lists and do their own grocery shop and put on their favorite kitchen playlists

#gbbo #snack vs. chef #(i do think top chef is a different model and therefore times things in a way where we see their kitchen personalities)#and a lot of the other shows absolutely feel like they capture true personality or at least persona #like giuseppe from gbbo he's my guy i love him he and nadiya hussein are probably my favorites ever #but i am always left curious as to what all contestants' chiller selves would be #the big brunch #is another example #about me
