Ok so I know this isn't a popular opinion & some might get mad/disagree but I've felt like though quim teases with moments & art qtip isn't really considered a probable end game (for reasons discussed before on here). Like the possibility is there but part of his relationship with SA is to create tension with YG. I always thought that the true love triangle would consist of YG & SA's best friend. The texts in today's episode reminded me of these thoughts I have which probably don't make sense😂

I understand what you mean and I briefly mentioned something related to this in a previous post (if anybody’s interested: here). Shin-Ae and Kousuke haven’t developed a meaningful relationship yet (in comparison, SA and YG have become friends), but it may change once they start working together. It’s true that Kousuke almost looks like he’s standing between YG and SA (at least ‘cause he doesn’t want people to think YG’s cheating), but that’s probably not his “real” role. But there’s an element that *could* indicate that Kousuke is still a little “apart”. In fact, it’s not unusual to see some “bonuses” for characters that aren’t necessarily the most important ones: remember the drawings of SA and Dieter’s love life? Well, it’s something completely different, but the fact that there are special episodes called “Kousuke’s corner” (rather than “Shin-Ae’s/Yeong-Gi’s corner”) makes me think of this…

Kousuke’s still a protagonist though, and even if he might be more or less likely to be the endgame depending on each reader’s point of view, he remains one of Shin-Ae’s potential love interests. So I don’t think that his potentially weaker chances of being the endgame pull him out of the love triangle. SA, YG and him are often portrayed together, so I personally don’t have doubts about the composition of the love triangle Quimchee created.

Did you ship Shin-Ae and Min-Hyuk at some point ;) ? Personally, I’ve never perceived him as a potential love interest since:

He really seems to play the role of the “very good (male) friend”, which is positive since it’s rare—in this type of stories—to see a healthy female-male friendship that doesn’t become a romance.

He doesn’t appear that much, poor him.

Wouldn’t it be a bit redundant? Yeong-Gi and Min-Hyuk are kind of similar…

Anyway, I find it funny that Shin-Ae’s befriending a very specific type of guys! And the messages they both sent her were adorable :)
