oh hell yes lucky you! in pocket camp they pair him up with robotic furniture (+ he's based off the gamecube, thus the name) which is enough evidence for me that he's a robot and im nothing if not a sucker for both (a) characters that are robots and (b) characters that find joy in the little things. combining those two things? obsessed. he's a very sweet villager and i hope you grow to love him as much as i do since he really is a delight
