#literally just said to my parents i wonder and worry sometimes that if it came down to it you'd take the side against what i fight for#against *me*#and chalk it up to the end times#bc you know 'nation against nation and brother against brother' sure isn't that just a fulfillment of prophecy#(oh i can quote scripture with the best of them)#the thought that they would deny their own humanity and think they were being god's best little soldiers#sorry but this week has raised all kinds of religious trauma in me that i'm trying to just slam down so i can stay meaningfully active#but genuinely btw the religious trauma and the 9/11 trauma that's being triggered worse than on 9/11#i'm not functioning well#genuinely cannot imagine what state i'd be in if i didn't have my comrades rn#but it's....yeah i just wanted to say it out loud to them so they have to think about it too
