what if your name is lando norris and one morning you wake up in a bed that is not yours. you feel weird, as if out of touch with reality, and after a few seconds you notice that you're naked. which is weird, because yesterday, you didn't drink anything nor did you go out. you turn your head and see a snoring max verstappen. also naked. then you scream, because you might be a close friend to max but you're definitely not close enough to land in bed with him.

max wakes up, of course, you literally screamed into his ear. he blinks dazed at you, and then calls you "oscar." but you're not oscar, you're lando...

it goes downhill from there.

+ You are about 2 years younger than Ben, so you two are close

+ Growing up with him would be so fun

+ Despite the fact that he calls you his baby sister all the time

+ And since Ben doesn’t like to socially interact with many kids his age, you two are best friends

+ And it reminds Leia so much of her and Luke

+ Han takes you guys on smuggling runs, much to Leia’s dismay, although she knows Han would never let anything happen to you two

+ And Lando is practically you guys’ uncle, and he’s often over for dinner or just to spend the day

+ You and your brother have a strong force connection (not a strong as him and Rey’s though)

+ So, Leia and Han see this and send you off to train with Uncle Luke at the same time

+ Meeting Luke’s new padawans and him being your guys’ teacher is just so fun

+ When you both build your light sabers, Ben’s turns out to be a dazzling Blue, and yours turns out to be a striking Orange

+ But it all goes downhill when Ben starts being more closed off and not talking much to anyone, or even you

+ And then one day

+ “Y/N, there is something I have to tell you about Ben...I’m sure you feel it too.”

+ You take a deep breath, and with tears in your eyes, you confirm

+ “Uncle Luke, he’s... he’s not himself anymore. I know it” a deep breath. “And I don’t know what to do.”

+ It get progressively worse over the next few weeks 

+ One day, you were meditating at the back of the temple at night

+ You smelled smoke and panicked

+ You turn around to see the Temple catching fire

 + You rushed to your quarters as fast as you could, and gathered your light saber and a few things in a bag

+ You ran out as fast as you could, looking for Ben

+ To only find Luke, who told you Ben had burned down the temple and has fled

+ Luke got you out of there as soon as possible, with a message to your parents

+ You hugged him one last time, promising to see him again one day

+ Before you know it, your back at home

+ And you start crying, and your mom brings you into her arms

+Your life was never the same, Ben was your best friend

+ Over the years, you see the relationship between your dad and your mom’s relationship crumble, because of all the unspoken words between them, and they had distanced themselves from each other

+ You help your mom form The Resistance, and become her second-in-command

+ You also lead Gold squadron, becoming the second best pilot in The Resistance, and being best friends with Poe

+ You continue harnessing your connection with the force, yet don’t sense your brother

+ And one day, Poe doesn’t come back from the mission that involved Poe getting the map that led to your Uncle Luke

+ Around that same time, you felt a shift in the Force

+ Your brother

+ He’s alive

+ It’s a weird sense of relief, as you haven’t seen him in years, neither has he tried to contact you

+ You are finally reunited with Uncle Chewwie and your dad on Takodana

+ You tush to them to give them a hug

+ Your mom, on the other hand, is more hesitant

+ You also happen to meet Finn and Rey

+ You are finally reunited with Poe

+ You where so worried

+ Against your mother’s wishes, you go with Chewwie, your dad, Finn and Rey to the mission on Starkiller base

+ But she respects your choice

+ Where you finally see your brother again

+ It’s You, Han and him on the bridge

+ The silence is so thick, you could cut it with a knife

+ He blinks in disbelief at you, with immense guilt

+ He tears up

+ “I-I thought you were dead”

+ You finally realized why he hadn't contacted you all these years

+ “I’m here Ben, I’m here”

+ But deep down you knew, he wasn’t Ben anymore

+ You watch as he has a talk with your father

+ Next thing you know, your brother’s blazing red light saber though your father

+ You let out a scream that makes your throat raw

+ You looked at him with anger and tears in you eyes, but decide not to fight him

+ You escaped with Chewwie, and save Finn and Rey from the Battle in the forest

+ When you get back to the rebel base, you cry as you tell your mom the news

+ She already knows, of course

+And she just comforts you and brings you into he arms

+ And you say your goodbyes to Poe and even Finn, who is in a coma now

+ And you got with Rey to find your Uncle
