god i love making people talk a lot about their fave character and it's a pleasant bonus if their fave character is also my fave character so don't you think i didn't read under the cut (i did i was very excited to get the answer With The Cut daemn) so yeah no i didn't get back to square one cause actually i had some thoughts and i think the most possible way for him to be is like. somewhere in-between? because yeah the possibility of him never growing out of his aoki era clothes (i presume, he must be used to this after years of being ryo aoki) is high cause at least that's the clothes he has now and that's how he rolls now and what not. but! i think he might lean a bit back to his emo swag era - not even close to how it was in his twenties, but i guess we can let the man have some bracelets or necklace - i have my doubts about him going back to politics (the man cringefailed so hard at this i would be ashamed to show my face in this field again daemn... but maybe he can put his skills to use at ijincho heck why not but that's the whole 'nother story) so i think he can allow himself to dress more freely while still stickin to his usual clothes. believe me you can't undo the damage to your brain and taste caused by emo goth swag era of your life im speaking from experience you can hide but you can't run. damn i hope it makes sense im too sleepy to sketch anything rn but ill do it later cause im haunted by visions byeeee

the inescapable hold of your goth era as a teenager/young adult is true and i was a fool to doubt it- it would manifest in one way or another you're right

Okay now I’m curious and wanna see if I like the majority of cast from the other two games:

Makoto - I guess. He's just as ordinary as he says so I don’t really have a problem with him. I don’t know if I’d call him boring but…I wouldn’t call him interesting either?

Kyoko - ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS QUEEN. I've always loved detective stories, and she’s so smart and level-headed.

Byakuya - He's great. He’s a total bitch and I don’t expect anything less from him than rude comments and pure, unadulterated arrogance.

Leon - I really don’t care. He could’ve screamed and threatened people a lot less, though (or was that Mondo? I can’t remember lol)

Sayaka - She was fine, I suppose. It was certainly interesting how she planned on killing a person and framing Makoto—it showed she wasn’t the perfect angel he thought she was.

Hifumi - Hahahahahahaha…nope. I don’t even hate him but it’s not like he’s anything more than a perverted nerd 🤷🏽‍♀️

Taka - Indifferent.

Mondo - Indifferent. Side note, his execution was the most disturbing for me of the three games so far.

Chihiro - He was so innocent and the way he died was too brutal for someone like him 😩 That being said, he was okay on his own (I liked that he was working to accept himself, even if it did end tragically) but his creation of Alter Ego made him better.

Celeste - Errr, don’t really care. I disliked her because she was all like "adapt, bitches" but when I found it was a facade, any disdain towards her disappeared. I feel like a lot of people like her, though, and I feel like it’s just because character design (correct me if I’m wrong, of course).

Hiro - Why the fuck did you survive. I forgot his talent one time. I don’t like this guy and he took the survivor spot that should’ve been Sakura's. On that note—

Sakura - I ended up really liking her. Despite appearances, she was such a caring girl and her friendship (or romance, you decide 😉) with Aoi was really sweet.

Aoi - Indifferent again. Like I said, I liked her friendship with Sakura—but unfortunately, that’s the only thing she has going for her 🤷🏾‍♀️ Better than Hiro, though. I wouldn’t have wanted her to die since she’s a sweetheart, so Hiro really should’ve taken Sakura’s place 😒

Toko - I cant believe I took so long to get to her 😆 Umm, she’s kind of a loser…lol. I don’t mean this in a negative way (mostly). She is certainly not boring but the Genocide Jill business is not appealing. How cliche was that reveal…she had DID or something. Very original, Chunsoft 😒 Also, her obsession with Byakuya is—again, not negatively—pathetic. So I found her pretty annoying at first (especially when she made comments about Aoi) and then I realized she was actually really pitiful. I know she had a traumatic childhood for starters, so viewing her after that makes her behavior kind of sad. Maybe she clung on to Byakuya because she was so friendless and disliked in life. Anyway, I’m looking forward to her portrayal when I play Ultra Despair Girls ‘cause I heard she’s better.
