#but anyways here's me yapping about my thought processes and stuff over my scrapped sketches

hey hey !! i dug through my folders and found a few scrapped sketches, so here's a lil' dump of them >:9

i'm gonna be adding a little description of my thought process in each scrapped sketches that are on this post, so take a peek in this thread if you're interested ... !

i was supposed to do a little star vee and cosmo interaction a few weeks ago, but ... i kinda just forgot. i wanted to do a funny little gossip comic about these two!

IGNORE THE VERY BAD HANDWRITING i tend to jot down my dialogues messily, they get rewritten once i finished rendering the piece first :9

THESE TWO ... i was gonna make an extra fruitcake valentines post but was inevitably burned out after finishing the group drawing of everyone ... the first sketch was cupid cosmo getting thoughts about cupid sprout and getting giddy about it!

the second sketch on the other hand, i wanted to draw cupid sprout peppering kisses all over cupid cosmo ... i thought it was a really cute image! but again, got burned out before i could even finish the sketch u_u

OKAY SOOOO I WAS GONNA MAKE MORE FANART FOR POILUBSU ... BUT ... i got caught up in other projects and ideas that i wanted to tackle, so these sketches ended up in the back ... who knows, i might get back to these one day!

another comic that i scrapped ... ! purely because i didn't know how to tackle this yet, i wanted to make a positive little comic about cosmo being happy and proud of himself.

i've also wanted this to be an allegory of acceptance and self-love of your identity, i wanted to tackle the topic of being transgender.

lastly, another piece that unfortunately got scrapped because it just didn't fit my vision quite right ... but it was a nice attempt regardless !

i drew this when i was feeling down, i didn't want to end my night on a sour note so i tried to convert my sorrows into sunlight. i ended up with this little piece but wasn't very satisfied enough as i was rendering; maybe i needed fresh eyes for this ... but nonetheless, it got scrapped :[ one day i'll do a redraw of this!
