Yes to all of those tags! I'm absolutely convinced he was very much not supposed to be out of bed after getting shot, and that the doctor's explanation of how the bullet richoceted off his ribcage so everything was fine actually was probably a bit different.

they were trying to make it feasible so he'd be able to have this talk with campbell right after but yeahhh other than that he absolutely should've stayed in bed and hooked to more wires 😭 I actually don't know if bullets could ricochet in this case, like he did shoot gabriel almost from the same distance with the same gun! but probably the ballistic vest and the angle factor into that. anyway in a better world, we'd have gotten our usual 18 episodes with the arc getting more well rounded having more time and space to breathe and carlos would've been recovering with TK by his side, whispering comforting things because Carlos keeps pushing for them to talk when he can't even open his eyes and TK just kisses his hand and brings it to his own chest.
