Tower of Dawn Reaction Post

SO I decided to record my full reaction to Tower of Dawn. It may jump around a lot and views change considerably but I had fun with it. And I hope y’all would bear with me and my weird ass thoughts. 

Is Nesryn the other king’s child, was she given to her parents to make sure that there will always be an heir even if someone killed the rest of them

So the south is aligned with someone in Wendlyn?

I find it refreshing and good that SJM shows that healing isn’t just physical, but also emotional. Even if you’re not open to it. Because talking helps. And not only did Aelin go through emotional and physical healing with Rowan. But Chaol is too. And that is good. 

Who is the wife/mother? Is she a god?

The "blackness” that’s in Chaol is like the darkness that Aelin had to go through. It’s his dark past. 

I can see Chaol and Yrene together. They compliment each other in a way that Nesryn and Chaol don't

Yrene will of seen Celaena. She’s gonna ask how he knows her and he will tell her. He will ask where she knows her. And she will tell him.

It is understandable that it took Chaol by surprise the culture of the south. But it is also admirable that he chooses to go and seek training, to learn their ways and methods. 

AELIN !!!! I love this girl power and friendship shit between Aelin and Nesryn.

So basically in these tunnels, they will discover the secrets to the Valg

And Kashin will find them and join them 

So between the time the Valg came and Elena fucked up (a good few thousand years) Fae went south and created structures in the mountains and pictures on stones and buried their dead and probably help with the Torre (plus that scroll) 

CELAENA.  AELIN. You are great full to Celaena.

And what about her sisters. Were they really her sisters? Is Erawan her husband? What is going on with this history now? 

Can Nesryn get rid of that archway? Close it or something. Will they have to travel back down south then? Cause I thought it was Morath that shit was going down in.

Usually, I would be pissed with the amount of coupling up. But THIS is done right. Not Yrene and Chaol. Not Aedion and Lysandra. Not Dorian and Mannon. Not Cassian and Nesta. But this way. Like these people. 

This Bitch Hasar. She has been playing these people and got a letter from Aelin and likes the letter. But did nothing to try and help her?!

Also, will all their incredible spies they don’t know that Aelin is captured? 

Also, we have now officially surpassed the ending of EoS. With the battle scene part, and now after it, we are technically in the chronological time frame of ToG7. So with that in mind, will TOG7 start right where EoS ended and fuck up the time line by having Chaol and Co. be on the continent or travel into the continent. Or will it be logical and do a small fast forward so everything is aligned? 

Hafiza is evil and took the damn books. Placing my bet now. Well, I placed it a while ago but still. Wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. 

It’s always the tunnels. Why don’t they ever check the fucking tunnels? 

Oh and if Hafiza is good and dies or if she just goes and dies, I’m declaring that Yrene will be named the head of the Torre and will use her new power to say that they will go North. 

And with her newfound sway as well as the Ruks plus that letter and the allies, the Khang will agree. 

But how will these new positions and shit affect the world after? Because Chaol wouldn’t do well in the south. So maybe Yrene will give up her newfound title after the war and start her own magic school. 

Also, one of the siblings will die in the war. Maybe two of them. 

Damn Chaol your really bad at this whole demon fighting thing 

Do not save her yrene. Just kill her. For one, yes it a noble cause but two, she’ll be wracked with guilt over her killing her sister and three, that demon baby thing. Just no.
