Is it really my fault that I am so deeply and tragically in love with these characters? Must that burden fall upon my shoulders, or will a cosmic grace bestow upon me some respite, saying to me softly, "it's not all on you, it's okay, we will bear some of that burden."?

I am willing to take all that I am dealt to handle, but a simple utterance telling me not the harbor the blame alongside it would do more for the ache than one could ever know
