#but I'm spiraling out about Stellaride

So I desperately need to download after 13x01 so here are my initial thoughts:

1. The dynamics in the house is OFF & you can feel it

2. The way Kelly hesitated when he saw Damon down & Kidd trying to help him. This is going to be a problem 😕

3. How did he know they're marrrrried. Why would they not show us Kelly & Stella talking about it? Pretty big deal

3b. Kelly did not disclose he & Damon's relationship to the chief. I feel like this is going to come back in a big/bad way & I'm scared

4. Mouch & Hermann... it's like Hermann is shrinking & I don't know why?

5. I feel like Stella has a mark on her back now with the new chief

5b. I also feel like this may be the beginning of a slight unravel for her not that it's bad but this coupled with the Damon, baby, backstory stuff I can see a crack forming

5c. Insert the men in Stella's life, causing her heartburn

6. That baby talk was a slight gut punch ngl even though I "prepared" for it

6b. Damon... i feel like you're going to piss me off when it comes to Stellaride. I can see where they're going with this & i feel like this triangle is going to be angst angst annnnnngst 😐

7. Carver seems like he's regressing tbh

8. Joe.... oh Joe I'm scared what he might do

9. Wtf was that scene with Pascal & that LT who came to visit 😳

9b. Wtf was that ending scene with Pascal & his wife

10. Wtf was that promo 🥴

Did I miss anything? Am I being dramatic? This episode left me feeling uneasy, which is not what I anticipated tbh.

Could you do a HC of Stellaride with your predictions of what happens in 10x10, if you are caught up with the current season

I'm actually not caught up with the current season. So many of my favourite characters left and the shows started to become more of a source of stress than relaxation. I stopped watching med at season 4, PD at season 7, and fire made it the longest at season 10 (I stopped after Casey left). I keep up with what happens a bit via Tumblr and Instagram, and I am still writing fics for the shows, but I'm not watching any of the new seasons until they give characters happiness damnit!

But I do know what stellaride drama you're talking about, and I honestly just don't know. Kelly's been betrayed before and he ended up spiralling so if Stella did romantically see someone else idk how he'd handle it, especially if Casey's gone. Casey has always been the one to bring Kelly back from the edge, so this could potentially get very dangerous.

As for Stella, I don't think it was confirmed that she saw someone else (just from the clip I saw a couple weeks ago, that info might have changed), just that she's having doubts about being with Kelly, which given his aforementioned self-destructive tendencies, is completely fair, but she can't string him along. She either needs to break up with him or commit.

Overall, I'm just really ticked at the OC writers for ruining what remained of Chicago fire. The series as a whole really started to go downhill after Sarah Reese left, so I shouldn't be surprised that the writers have pulled this nonsense with stellaride, but I was kinda hoping that they'd decided to produce good writing instead of churning out random drama as per usual.

I'm just sitting here thinking like wow I was really an ungrateful BRAT regarding s12. Looking back on it now we really got some quality ass scenes for it to have been such a short season. Idk if it's just me but

12x01 shower scene (excuse me while i scream into the void)

12x02 bar banter I'll take it

12x03 arson ATF angst mixed with "I don't ever want you to feel trapped." Plus the goodbye scene... kisses, ass taps, & a promise to return + a promise to wait

12x07 Kelly+Maya=girl dad tease

12x08 Stella initiated interrupted quickie, emotional Stella confiding in her husband about Gibson. Kelly being a supportive husband & letting her know it's not her fault. Working together

12x09 " Please be careful" ALWAYS!! Plus, they worked together on an arson case #who needs Seager anyway

12x10 "you got this Stella! Shoulder rubs at Mollys, handling ranking officer like a boss

12x11 STELLARIDE core. Kelly Severide phone screen is a picture of his wife. What do you mean he dialed her number by heart while his hands were bound? What do you mean she hopped out of Squad 3 wearing his helmet screaming his name! You got a wife & kid(S)? Forehead kisses. When I need something stronger meets I got your stronger 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

12x13 we got a 6x02 parallel & Kelly Severide wants to start a family (excuse me what!!) all before 8am shift....

Like yeeeeeeea, they actually ate this mini season up. I'm sorry for all the shit I talked AN 💐

Ok, @chicagofires, here are my Stellaride seasons ranked!

S6-HELLO. We got so many different eras within one season. I can write a thesis about S6 & how they could probably never top the amount of pure perfection that came from it. Bridges Burn is a core memory for me & I can't listen to that song & NOT think of Stellaride.

S12-is truly an underrated Stellaride season that i don't think we talk about enough? Like, no scene was wasted, in my opinion. Every scene had an impact in some way. Tayranda acted their asses off & took Stellaride to an untouchable level of ships 😌

S7-Stella almost lost a LUNG trying to save Kelly. Kelly going absolutely feral & getting put out of Med because he wouldn't stop advocating for her. It's hard to comprehend what would happen in the episodes to follow, but i commend Stella for choosing herself. She loved him deeply but loved herself more, which was crucial development for her after Grant. Kelly choosing to do the work & be the man he knows Stella deserves. Also momumental development for him because this is when in my opinion he realized that in order for him not to become Benny he had to chose a new path forward. I just hate that Stellarides' reunion is shared with us losing Otis. Hard to be excited about their reunion when death was looming.

S9- Kelly being an idiot almost ruined this season for me. But the moment that man came to the realization that Stella was never leaving him, it's like you can see all the pieces fitting together.I knew the engagement was coming but I never get over watching him pull off his mask in a raging fire & drop to one knee. It absolutely could not wait he needed to ask her right then to know it was real.

S8- Kelly being a supportive simp & helping Stella prepare for her leadership program. Him encouraging her & talking her down when she starts to spiral or doubt herself. Kelly asking Stella to move in because Stella is home for him. This season was their most domestic season where they were able to just be happy & healthy & I'll cherrish it always because they haven't known peace since. 🥹😭

S10 & S11 TIED- listen these two seasons somehow delivered the best Stellaride milestones while also delivering the most instability in the fandom because back to back, i thought we were at risk of losing it ALL. Looking back, though, I have learned to respect them for what they brought us & it has made me extremely grateful for what we have now because truly at any moment it can be gone.

S4-i hate that this is so low because, ultimately, the introduction of Stella Kidd is what made me fall in love with CF again. I knew from episode 18 that Stella was going to give Kelly a run for his money. Their chemistry was off the charts & I'm happy they saw that too & decided to make Miranda permanent.

S5-Kelly leaning on Stella as a friend, sounding board. Stella stepping in as a supportive friend when it came to Ana. S5 was painful to watch Kelly go through yet another trauma but a beautiful plot device for what would be one of OneChicagos' greatest ships to set sail.

13x2 download. I actually really enjoyed this episode after the spiral i sent myself into 😅🫣

1. Cute Stellaride interaction. It's good to know Truck vs Squad dynamic is still there even if the LTs are married.

2. I'm extremely proud of the way Stella handled herself this episode. "Do you hear me now!?"= CLEARED

3. Mouch & Hermann talking it out. Do we think Hermann is going to chicken out again?

4. Cindy-"I want your honest opinion" gentle nod & Hermann always backing his wife

5. Damon, You've been on the ropes with Kidd ever sense you came to 51 because you don't follow orders, got out of line on a call & idk lied to everyone for weeks? Accountability where is it? Once we find it we can talk until then the woe is me act is null & void & the door is to the left.

6. No one ever really knows Dom Pascal... side note seeing a WOC as Battalion Chief? Wow so they do exist in the CFD

7. Ayyyyyye Ritter smell my neck 😂😂

8. "Yea, I trust you." "Miss u." Mikarver, you're going to make this one hurt, aren't you?

9. Pascal questioning Stella about Truck turnover... did I mention how proud i am of how Stella handled herself this episode 🙃

10. Did anyone see the pics Pascal was looking at before Monica walked in? Looks like a fire, what if those are from Miami? Arson???

11. Monica + Pascal + Vale. Wth is going on between those 3. Anyone catch the ring camera outside Vales house? Wonder if it caught that assault 🤔

12. Cruz talking some sense into Severide. You can tell this was weighing heavy on Kelly.

13. Kelly coming clean to Stella. 💔 those eyes. So Kelly did lie (by ommission), but he gets points for coming clean in the end, right?

14. Really don't like the way Damon talked to Kelly at the end. The entitlement on this kid is alarming, but we got a My Wife so a win is a win.
