so far I've met two people who have said that Implanon worked for them, a receptionist at my skin specialist office and a coworker. Coworker was more than happy to explain her experience with it to me, and I'm relieved that there's people who it's worked for in my general reach.

it's been itchy and sore today but out of nobody's fault but my own when I raise my left arm in any way (and I slept on that side last night). I'm going to have to train myself not to use that arm so much this week, but it's my non dominant arm so that's okay.

I'm still incredibly bitter that the doctor suggested this but I've already noticed a drop in period heaviness. It wasn't heavy last night by as much as it had been the other night and it's been slowly returning to spotting over the course of the day.
