I DO think temp track songs in documentaries are really funny. Like. You literally just copied the soundtrack from a famous film 1:1. Luckily there's zero overlap between the people who watch popular films and the people who watch documentaries (sarcasm)

#normally it's not that bad #like pretty much every tech doc ever uses The Social Network OST as a base #and that's fine because it's obviously A BASE to build on #but I'm listening to this podcast documentary rn that straight-up uses Thomas Newman's 'Any Other Name' over and over #and I'm like #sir PLEASE tell me you have permission to use that song #because you did not change it AT ALL lmao #like don't get me wrong I fucking love that song and I'm so glad you're with me in the Newman pit but...YOU GOOD?
